She's crying

You walked in the house after a long day at work. It was agonizing but you were home now, that was all that mattered and you wanted nothing more than to see Demi, counting your blessings that after terribly long days like today you got to come home to her. You slowly walked up the stairs, each step you took was one step closer to her. You reached the top step and noticed the bedroom door was closed, odd considering the only people that lived there were you and Demi but you thought maybe she went to take a nap and closed the door and forgot to open it again.

But as you inched closer you heard a few soft cries coming from the bedroom. Your heart dropped instantly and you ran to the door and threw it open, your heart breaking when you saw Demi sitting on the floor in front of the bed with her head buried in her hands. You ran over to her and pulled her into your embrace. "Demi? Are you okay? What happened?" It all came out so fast but you couldn't help it, you were worried about her.
"I don't know y/n. I just really miss home. I miss my family and my friends. I know I haven't been gone too long since the holidays but I can't help it.. I miss them." You nodded your head at her words, tears falling from her eyes and onto your sweater. "We can always have them come out here for a little while, maybe for a few days if you'd like that? They can stay here with us?" Demi looked up at you, a small smile appearing on her face. "Really?" "Yeah, I mean, we have the room babe!" She giggled and nodded her head, pulling you into her arms. "I love you so much!" She said before kissing you passionately, making you smile against her lips before kissing back. Anything to make your girl happy, you'd do it in a heartbeat.
