She thinks you're sleeping

You've been in bed for about twenty minutes now. The room was completely dark and quiet, all Demi could hear was the sound of your breathing. There's been so much she's wanted to tell you so she figured now was the perfect time to do so.

Except, you're not actually asleep yet. You're trying to fall asleep but you haven't quite gotten there yet.

You heard Demi start to speak up. "y/n, I know we've only been dating for a few months now but I just want you to know that I love you. I know you're asleep and that you're not gonna say it back and that's okay. I just really want you to know that I really love you. I never thought I'd be so lucky to find someone like you. Someone that loves me for who I truly am and someone that never judges me for the mistakes I have made and continue to make sometimes. But then you came along and I can't explain to you how much you mean to me. I never wanna lose you. I don't think I could last a single day without you."

She pressed a kiss to your neck, still thinking you were asleep until you rolled over on your side to face her. "I love you too." She felt her heart skip a beat at your words, a little embarrassed that you heard everything she said but over the moon that you felt the same way. "You do?"

You giggled and pressed a kiss to her lips. "Of course I do, silly girl. I love you so much." She kissed you back and ran her fingers through your hair. "What did I ever do to deserve you?" She whispered before planting a kiss to your forehead. "I ask myself the same question about you everyday."
