*one month later*

Dan's POV-

It's been a month since Phil and I met. I'm definitely crushing on him. I mean, he's just so kind and sweet and I can't see him but I know he's gorgeous. I really like him and it's driving me insane.

"Phil's asking you something" Diane informs me.

"Where's Dom?" I ask.

"She's taking a day off because she's ill" she says. I tut.

"Can you read sign language?" I ask hopefully.

"I'm a little rusty but I'll try" She tuts.

"Now, where is he?" I question. She laughs and turns my head to face him.

"Ok, so he's asking... what, no, why do you know how to... uh... sp-sp- oh! Speak sign language" I can almost see her smile of triumph.

Oh, well, my ex-boyfriend-

I'm cut off signing by Phil saying unintelligible words.

"Oh, um, he got shocked at the word 'boyfriend'" Diane informs.

"Oh!"

I'm sorry, I guess it's just been my way of life and I never usually have to come out really, I'm bisexual.

I sign.

"He says... real- really question mark that's great!" I laugh at Diane's slow uptake on Phil's signing. I then feel two arms around me. I feel for the person's face, although I'm pretty sure it's Phil. I put my hand on his cheek and stroke it.

"Alright, you two, either kiss or break it up" Diane laughs. I giggle and Phil doesn't, probably because he didn't hear- probably best he didn't to be honest.

"He says I was- no, you were saying"

"Oh yeah"

My ex-boyfriend was deaf and i could still see when I was with him- true, he was blurry, but who cares. Anyway, he taught me sign language.

I explain.

"He's asking why you two aren't next to each other- no- together anymore" she confuses.

He cheated on me with a girl and said he was strait.

I sign quickly. I hear him gasp.

It didn't matter as much as it would if I were, say, in love with him, so, I guess what I'm saying is it could have been worse.

I sign kind of sadly.

"Uh, he's saying anyone who would do this- no that to you is not worth your wrist- no, time" she says. I smile at him and he rest his forehead on mine.

"Thank you"
