Part 3: Inner Struggle

Clover, Marie, and Ashley find you in the crater.

Clover: Please tell me you're still alive...

You open your eyes and struggle to get back up.

Marie: What happened?

Fenrir: That bastard, Harrison, turned Chelsea into a completely different person. She didn't even recognize us.

Clover: That's horrible...

Y/N: We need to save her...

Ophiuchus: You are in no condition to save anyone. You need rest.

You pass out in Marie's arms and the group carry you back home.

Meanwhile, Harrison, Wrath, and Chelsea create a mutant demon army using the sludge.

Harrison: Soon Hell, Heaven, and Earth will bow to us!

You wake up in a lab of some kind.

Y/N: Where am I...

Luci: The Pride Division Medical Center. You took a pretty major beating.

Y/N: What happened to Chelsea...

Luci: We detected the Blood of Darkness. When Satan was banished from Heaven, he fell into this darkness, becoming the first master of Hell. It is said whatever falls into the liquid will become a vicious shell of what they once were.

You try to get up and you feel something on your arm. You look to see a chain.

Luci: You can't leave. You are in no condition to face her again.

Ophiuchus: She's right. If you face Chelsea right now, you will die.

Y/N: You expect me to sit and do nothing while my girlfriend is forced to obey that maniac?

You glow and transform into your half demonic form.

Luci: You need more than that to intimidate a Demon Lord. Look, if you die, Chelsea can never be saved.

You calm down.

Luci: You are the one needed to save her. Rest. I will talk to you later.

She leaves you to sit and think.

Ophiuchus: What will you do?

Y/N: Whatever it takes to save Chelsea.

Ophiuchus: Hm. Even if it results in your death?

Y/N: Yes.

Ophiuchus: I see. Well I suppose I can't stop you.

Back to Marie and the others.

Ashley: I hope Y/N's okay.

Clover: Same...

Marie: We need to save Chelsea somehow...
