"Idiot. You're late." Kakashi mumbled quietly as Obito stumbled to the training ground. Today was the day they would fully meet each other as a team in this life. Obito walked over, dragging his feet along. The wind rustled along the grass, and the sun shines over the village. Hazy clouds were floating along the light blue sky.

Rin watched the two make eye contact, fully. Kakashi's demeaning glare, and Obito's quiet looking one. Minato closed his eyes and leaned over to his female student.

"How long?" He mumbled Rin looked up and her shoulders sagged.

"Ever since they first met... eleven years ago." She replied softly. Minato's eyes widened slightly. The last time he saw all of them together was when The Senin ordered the mission. He knew how much Kakashi hated him.

Hell... even he felt anger towards Obito. He did kill his son.

But he moved on from it. He understood Obito's reasoning, thinking, mental stability at the time. He changed, and Minato knew he only wanted the best for the world. All Minato had was love for his three students. He wanted the best for them.

"Ahem..." the blonde man cleared his throat and motioned them to group around him. "Today is the day our mission begins. I want you to tell me what you have been training in. I mastered Sage Form, Flying Thunder God, Rasengan, and three chakra natures, Wind, Water, and Earth."

Rin spoke up. "I completed all training in Medical Ninjutsu, including Tsunade-samas technique, the 100 Healings. See, I've got the Byakugo mark on my shoulder.' Rin lifted her sleeve, and sure enough, a lilac diamond was on her right bicep. "I know shuriken jutsu, and weaponry as well. I'm really good at close combat. I have two chakra natures, Water and Lightning. I want you to teach me Flying Thunder God, sensei. I believe it'll be useful for me."

Minato nodded. It was amazing how well rounded Rin was... she even knew how to do 100 Healings.

"Since I was somehow born with Obito's Sharingan in my left eye, I mastered Body Flicker, Lighting Blade, and Chidori already. I can do long range and close combat attacks. I can do Fire and Earth jutsus, as well many others because I copied them." Kakashi answered, kicking his feet.

"I also have Mangekyou." He looked up and lifted his headband covering his left eye, and his eye turned into a pointed Sharingan similar to a shuriken

Minato frowned. This was unexpected.

Everyone then looked at Obito, who looked up. "I have the Sharingan in both of my eyes... as well as this." His eyes twisted into the very same Mangekyo Sharingan Kakashi had in his left eye. This time, he had two.

He could summon Susanoo.

"I know all Uchiha Clan derived jutsus by heart, as well as Fire Style, Water Style, and Wind Style jutsus." Obito quietly said. Minato was in shock.

He had two members of his team with Mangekyou Sharingan.

One could do Susanoo.

One could do multiple style combat.

One could do the 100 Healings.

In terms of teaching, he had nothing to give. Looking down into his three students solemn eyes, that held no shine of innocence...

It broke his heart. He too didn't live a life of naivety. His whole childhood was devoted to constant training until he was thirteen. That was when he and Kushina made progress with their relationship. Minato gained someone to protect. To love.

His eyes held the shine that was stolen from his last life.

Rin did have people to protect, as well as Obito. But it seemed to him, Kakashi still couldn't open his heart. It was understandable. He lost everyone he loved, even when he opened his heart again. The people he treasured were always ripped away from him.
