Minato: Agent Furasshu ( Agent Flash) Rin: Agent Hidoi (Agent Severe) Kakashi: Agent Aka *Agent Red) Obito: Agent Taka (Agent Kite). Code names are based on the real characters personalities, nicknames and/or English definition of their given name.

"Ne, Sensei?" Rin called out to Minato. The duo was jumping between trees while maintaining distance proximity from the client. Minato looked back at the masked girl and scolded her gently.

"No sensei, Agent Hidoi. You are to call me Agent Furasshu." Rin nodded.

"Alright then... Agent Furasshu... was it smart to put Agent Aka and Agent Taka together? I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just a bit worried because of their history." Minato motioned her to go up a tree, and she complied. The two rested on the branch, as the princess was going at a very slow rate, enough that if she began moving faster, they would be by her in no time.

"Agent Hidoi... when certain circumstances occur, we have to give a push from both sides. For how long will Agent Aka be away from Agent Taka? By putting them on the same teams, battle each other, make them be close, the chances from zero immediately shoot up to ten percent. By doing more than sometimes leaving it alone... progress will come faster." Minato replied back, looking intently at the moving princess. Rin looked down as well.

"For how long, though?" She quietly asked. "I've tried for eleven years, Agent Furasshu. Eleven years."

"For as long as it takes. Those two have a bond similar to my son and the second son of the Uchiha. I know it. They will connect that bond again."

"I hope so."

The two fell silent and watched the princess etch away from the horizon.

On the other side of the forest, Kakashi and Obito were jumping from trees, stopping every now and then. Obito flashed his Sharingan and narrowed his eyes.

"Agent Aka-," Obito began, but his stomach twisted when Kakashi looked at him through the holes of his mask, a dangerous glowing red boring into his own eyes.

"What, Agent Taka? Is it important?" Kakashi hissed. Obito nodded and bit the inside of his cheek.

"Chakra sense ahead. Someone is getting close to the princess, seven kilometers to the left... I advise we contact Agent Furasshu and Agent Hidoi." Kakashi looked back and nodded.

"Okay. I'll speak to Agent Furasshu, you contact Agent Hidoi." Clicking the communication button on the underside of his mask, he made a work to contact Rin.

"Agent Hidoi. What's the issue, copy."

"Agent Taka. Sensing dangerous chakra ahead, make effort to move eight kilometers from the right for your side. Prepare, copy."

"Understood, we will meet you in five minutes... chakra boost on, copy."

"Understood, copy, out." With that, the crackle of the intercom moved off. Obito zipped ahead and kept pace with Kakashi.

"Contacted Agent Furasshu. They are making a way in five minutes."

"Agent Hidoi reported the same."

A silence went between the two. This was the most they had talked, and before, they only talked if necessary. It seemed that whenever Obito tried to talk to him otherwise, Kakashi would have an accusing look, a look of pain. A look of distrust.

"Agent Taka?" Obito looked to his left and was surprised Kakashi made an effort to speak.

"Yes, Agent Aka?"

"It has been twelve years. I have spent twelve years trying to forgive you. But I can't. Every time I look at you, I see the same person with the murderous, crazed look, who killed my students. You have changed since then. But I can't ever forgive you. I still hate you with every fiber of my being."

Obito's stomach clenched, but he listened.

"Don't try to speak with me on any other bases besides missions. I will protect you and work with you... your a member of Team Minato and a Konoha citizen. And one day..." Kakashi stopped on a branch and looked at him sharply. Obito looked back with an equal amount of pain... though in a different way.

"We will settle our differences. I assume you understand what I mean?"

He means a death battle... But I need to tell him my own words.

"Agent Aka." Obito harshly, jumping ahead. Kakashi looked at the side and nodded.

"Hmm?"

"I did kill people who you loved dearly. I made you cold and untrustful. You are not the Kakashi who I knew, the one I fought. You were accepting, loving, kind. You went back to who you used to be. And even though I know you hate me because of what I took from you, I changed. I'm not going back to who I once was. A perfect world can only be a perfect world with darkness behind it. I understand that."

"But one day... one day you'll see all that. That I am good again. That you can finally have people to protect because you love them, and they won't be taken away. You'll get everything you deserved, everything you needed. So fuck whatever you said. I will keep talking to you. I will prove that your hate against me is over. To do that, I have to go against you."

Kakashi gritted his teeth and jumped faster, but Obito sped ahead and spoke intensely.

"Why are you so hell-bent on talking to me, ripping me away? I'm perfectly fine being alone because every single time I have someone close to me, they are always killed. Always. Leave me alone! Leave me in a place where no one will hurt me!" The silver-haired boy spat, pain echoing through his voice.

First his mom, then his dad. Soon his two best friends, then his teacher. After that, his subordinate left the village. Years later, his three students. His whole village. He couldn't take it anymore, he just couldn't open his heart to anyone anymore.

"I'm not going to leave you alone. As much as darkness is comforting to the soul, in the end, it is always the worst thing anyone could do. I should know. And because I know that, I will never leave you alone. Never, I won't let you end up like the past me... because you're my best friend." Obito said back.

The two reached their destination and Kakashi looked at Obito, who was staring at the enemy with his Sharingan, his look intense.

I said all that, and you still call me your friend?

What an idiot.
