He woke up to the smell of some freshly made pancakes and immediately rushed into the kitchen, upon finding his wife missing.
"Mumma, Papa is back?" His three year old asked Annika who was busy cooking.
"Hmmm"
"Is he sleeping?"
"Hmmm"
"Did he brought gifts?"
"Hmmm"
"Chocolates?"
"Hmmm"
"Teddy?"
"Hmmm"
"Jelly-beans?"
"Hmmm"
"Books?"
"Hmmm"
"Are you Pannika?"
"Hmmm" She mindlessly hummed and when she realized that it wasn't Ansh, but Shivaay who asked her that. She turned around to see both of them giggling, suppressing their laughters.
"Awww!" She exclaimed, and joined their laughter, face-palming her silliness.
Shivaay sighed at how she still uses 'Aww' in the absolute wrong context!
