Chapter Ten

That Night-

(Dipper)

Bill teleports us to the club, Toxic.

The bouncer stares at us suspiciously and asks, "Password?"

Bill nods at his twin.

Will grins and says, "Please? It's my birthday today... Maybe I could repay you somehow..."

The bouncer grins.

"What type of payment?" He asks.

"Well... Money or... other things..."

"Meet me in five minutes. Behind the club," he whispers to Will as he lets us in.

Once we're in, I ask him, "Are you really going to...? You know..."

The blue-haired vampire laughs.

"Of course not."

"Well, what are you going to do?"

"That's my secret," he winks.

Bill chuckles and grabs my hand.

"Will used to sneak into clubs all the time. He was quite the troublemaker," he says.

"I learned from the best," Will says, punching Bill.

My mate grins and scans the crowd.

"We should split up. Cover more ground," he says.

We nod and separate.

I ask around for the boss, but everyone just gives me drunk smiles and tries to give me drugs.

I sigh and walk to the bar.

The bartender grins at me.

"Looking for the boss?" He asks.

"I need to talk with him."

He frowns.

"You should be careful. I can tell you're not the type to come here. What are you really here for? Some adult fun?" The grey-haired vampire asks.

"I told you. I need to talk to him."

He stares at me.

"You're telling the truth... Look. I'll help you... but you have to promise something."

I blink.

"Sure?"

He leans over the counter and looks around, as if someone was listening.

He whispers, "I need you to kill him after you talk to him."

I gasp softly.

"Why?" I ask.

"He has hurt many vampires. I only work here because he threatened my wife and children. Please, promise you will kill him."

I bite my lip.

"I'll do my best," I say.

He frowns.

"I can't help you unless-"

"Carson! Give me another Blood Shot!" some vampire snaps.

"Coming right up."

He pours two drinks and hands one to me.

"On the house. Just... consider my offer," he says leaving.

I take the drink and hold it in my hands as I rush to find my friends.
