While reading, I was captivated by the weird yet romantic relationship she develops with the pirate king, Vaas Montenegro.
I immensely enjoyed the storyline and solid character development of Ashelin and Vaas. This book is filled with steamy passion, adventure, and a hardcore female. Ashelin is willing to do anything to protect and save her king. Who doesn't love a book with a fierce female? I know I do, and if you do too, you should give this book a read.
