"why are you always getting in to fights?" corbyn asked and immediately wished he could take it back when he saw the way jonah looked at him.

"i'm not," the older boy muttered; crossing his arms over his chest.

corbyn's eyebrows came together, "then why are you always beat up when you come to school?"

jonah didn't respond, and corbyn stared at him in shock.

"j-jonah..." corbyn whispered hoping it wasn't true, "are y-you being a-abused?"

jonah's eyes widened as he looked around the room to see if anyone heard corbyn, "shh! no i'm not."

"is that why you're always beat up?" corbyn mumbled and jonah snapped, "oh my god corbyn no."

"you can tell me the truth," corbyn said in a gentle tone.

"i literally just met you, i'm not going to tell you my whole life story" he shook his head.

corbyn thought for a second, "people tell therapist about their problems and they barely know them."

"can you just drop it?" jonah sighed looking annoyed but corbyn pressed on.

corbyn stared at the side of jonah's face, "i'm here if you want to talk about it."

"i don't," he muttered as he relaxed in his desk.

when it came time for them to leave, jonah flung his bag on his back and looked at corbyn softly.

"please don't go around telling people stuff you don't know about..." he mumbled.

corbyn looked at jonah in surprise, "i wasn't planning on it."

corbyn bit his lip as he stood there trying to concentrate, i hope he's okay.

a ball smacked the ground beside him, jolting him back in to the reality of practice.

"corbyn, pay attention!" his coach clapped his hands before he blew his whistle.

"i'm sorry coach!" he yelled back before the game started back up.

daniel looked at corbyn as they walked over to his car which was parked where it was last time.

when corbyn didn't make some remark about him being a stalker, he knew something was wrong.

"hey what's on your mind?" he said as he popped the trunk for corbyn.

corbyn shook his head, "i'm tired and i've been zoning out recently," he sighed as he put his bag in the trunk.

he pulled out a muscle shirt, threw off his shirt he practiced in and put the muscle shirt on.

a whistle came, and corbyn's face went red until he turned and saw it was jack and ari.

"hey hottie's, watching the soccer kids?" he asked.

"you know only he is," corbyn nodded towards daniel, who's face immediately turned red.

"shut up, your boy jonah's out there" he said before nodding towards field.

corbyn tried to not make it obvious when he glanced towards the boys running laps around the field.

"your boy?" jack asked, "how much do i miss when i sleep through classes?"

ari nodded her head, "mhm issa ship."

"no it's not" corbyn mumbled as he watched as jonah put his hands on his knees before sitting on the ground.

jack still seemed confused, "so corbyn likes the bad boys?"

"he's not a bad boy," corbyn snapped before everyone began to make fun of him.

"oh that's right, people who like the bad boys can always see through their tough act," daniel mocked.

"corbyn's face went red, but he kept his mouth shut."
