What is poetry?
Is it a gentle touch of the soft words
that take you to another world?
Is it a wild storm created in your mind
after reading about life?
Is it a pen, writing on a paper,
scribbling away powerful letters?
Is it the feeling, the thoughts you get
after reading that first sentence?
You can't really put
a label on it.
It's what you feel
not what you read.
Poetry is everything,
it's the air we breathe.
