The Next Day—Midoriya Apartment

It's no secret that the 'Quirkless' boy with green hair possesses a trait that allowed him to pick up things severely quickly, to the point that it was enough to awe most. More so was Katsumi, who, if she wasn't any wiser, thought that he had some intelligence-based 'Quirk', much to his amusement.

Nonetheless, Izuku was quick to rise from bed, get a quick shower and then get started on breakfast.

Breakfast, the very thing that starts off the day properly. Without one, well, you can do work. Just that it was better if you at least filled your bellies with something. So, after much time taken to contemplate on what he would be making for today's one, he'll go with the traditional yet beautiful breakfast: Eggs Benedict.

He had prepped up all the ingredients on a table before he checked a cookbook he had on his person. "Chive, Hollandaise sauce, poached egg, oven baked bacon, and English muffin. Okay, time to get started."

It's actually not hard to follow the steps. Just hard to do all of it alone without anyone to tell him if there was anything that he was missing. Thankfully, with L and Nana in his soul, they were there to be his second and third set of eyes that were incredibly alert, helping him get through the processes with little difficulty.

Soon enough, footsteps came into the room, and looking to the source was a still groggy Eri, hair dishevelled and eyes shut tight. She yawned out, cute. "Huaah~..! Morning, Izu-nii..."

'Izu-nii..!' Repeated the boy as his hand clutched his chest, hit with an aura of cuteness that almost made him fall to the ground and bleed out in joy and to death. "Morning, Eri!"

"Oh, Izuku..?" His mother was next to speak as she walked into the room, yawning behind her hand. "You're making breakfast? You shouldn't have."

"Pssh, it's easy, mom. I got this," chuckled the boy, enjoying this sense of freedom that he was able to make food as he wanted to—because his mom in his old life didn't let him into the kitchen, no matter how much he tried to push her into letting him cook.

Oh well.

"Everything will be done in ten more minutes," he says. "Until then, why don't the both of you go get showers? Mom, can you take Eri with you?"

"Oh, of course," nodded the older greenette, silently amazed that he was handling the cooking quite well. "Come on, Eri."

"Okay..." Nodded the silver-haired girl, letting herself get lead away to get showered.

With enough time, he had finished making the three dishes, setting them down on the table as he wiped off the sweat from his forehead with the sleeve of his tee-shirt. As liberating as it was to be able to cook, it was pretty tiring. Then again, it was fun, no doubts to that.

'So, we're going to go adopt Eri, and then work out?' Asked Nana as he washed his hands.

He lets himself dry his hands before he answers. 'Probably, though it's probably gonna' be one hell of a cost. And how old is she? Seven, right? That means she would have to go to school, and we'll need to figure out where to send her. There's also the problem that she probably would want her own room, so I'll have to start finding a job quick if I want to get enough money to start buying everything, including her school clothes, more food, and—'

'Izuku, Izuku! Chill!' Nana laughed out, her spiritual friend nodding in agreement. 'You don't have to worry about all that, seriously!'

'Applying Occam's Razor into this situation, I doubt she would want any other room. Plus, it's not like she would have to go to school,' the man says.
