"NO! JUST TAKE HIM AWAY! HE NEEDS TO BE PROTECTED!" The gumiho shouted as he fought with the kit fox clan knowing that he would soon die.
"But sir you-" the corsac tried his best to take away the master along with the cub but it was of no use.
"JUST TAKE HIM AWAY! YOU KNOW WHY" he winced in pain as his another tail got cut
"But-" the corsac was again cut off.
"Did you hear me or not? If he gets in the hands of them then we don't know what they will do" he said more like an order but in a whisper as only three of his tails were left, all his energy draining down, but what was all use of? His whole family died, his whole clan died, his friends, his kids, his wife but he was still fighting, fighting to protect their god, their master.
The last tail and he was gone, gone to Inari and to finally tell her that he saved Inari's own master.
Like can you believe a goddess can have her own master too?
The corsac kept running and fighting to whosoever kit came and ripped of its tails.
Finally they reached the safest spot, his home, his hood
He panted until he placed the sleeping cub carefully on the bed from his back and bowed to him before leaving the room to let the cub sleep
He went outside and saw already all the corsacs standing there, their ears straight to hear what the leader has to say
The leader cleared his throat and howled to get everyone's attention though everyone was listening to him
"Master is safe" he finally spoke and everybody sighed a relief
"But don't you feel relieved my brothers, the kits are looking for him, we need to protect our god, our master" the leader yelled and everybody fumed with anger for the kits
"Master is one of a kind, we need to save him" he lowered his voice to pick it up again
" Revive your powers!
Reveal your attacks!
Unleash your inner beast!
No mercy!" He yelled
"No mercy!" Everybody yelled behind him and howled in unison
"All hail to the turquoise god!"
"All hail to the turquoise god!"
