I sat in my room thinking of how to break the bad news to my boys. They would be so mad. I thought. Suddenly I got a text from Madina. Your windows are closed.
I checked my Venetian blinds, yes they have been closed and dusty for a while now. I knew who I would see once I pulled up the blinds. Madina.
I used to be smitten with Madina. Falling heads over hills. My PC and iPad were full of her photos and videos. "Why didn't you tell us?."Ahmed shouted, landing a punch on my chin.
"We are your best friends, we have the right to know.." Musa trying to get hold of Ahmed.
"Chill, Guys I can explain." I was massaging my chin...OUCH!
"It all kinda happened. I was so disturbed and I didn't know how to tell you guys. I am sorry. I also got a job in My Family Shipping Business Office in Turkey. " I explained trying to calm them down.
"Okay, Man if you say so" Musa patting me on my shoulders.
"You okay?." I asked Ahmed.
"Yeah, of course. Why shouldn't I?." He answered. I could feel the sarcasm in his voice.
"Don't mind him, he will get over it." Musa walking toward the joystick on the desk and grabbed it.
"So tell me do you have any friends or family in Turkey?"Ahmed asked.
"No, I dont.. it's going to be very difficult for me. I am going to miss you guys. "
"Don't worry, Dude. You are going to be okay." Musa trying not to get distracted.
"Wait...Friends? I know someone." I exclaimed as I remembered Farha.
"Really?"
"Yes, Ahmed really. Her name is Farha."
"Aha I know it has to be a girl.." Musa dropping the joystick and jumped into the bed.
"Have you told her? "He asked.
"Not yet. Lemme send her a text message.
Hello Farha? How are you? I will be arriving in Istanbul in the next two weeks. Hope to see you soon.
