Farha's POV
After listening to my Manager ranting about my mistakes...i peeped out of the counter looking like a missing rabbit. Maina was gone.
Oh God!!! The biggest embarrassment of my life. I whimpered.
I had double troubles. I was not sure if I could face Maina ever again. Secondly I could get fired...Nooo this cant be happening. I thought as i walked out of the restaurant.
The only way to keep my job was to plead with the Manager's assistant who was a womanizer. I despise him alot and he knows.
I was having all sort of thought on my mind when Ali appeared from no where again.
My Black knight, i thought. He was always with me whenever i needed help.
"Hey, Are you okay? You look worried" he asked.
"Its okay, am fine."
"Maryam said you needed someone to talk but you refused to tell her where you were! You said you wanted to be alone."
Actually i called her after the chaos that happened earlier. But i wanted to be alone.
"Just go away" trying not look at Ali.
"You know i wont, so stop wasting your time."
"You look tired lemme carry you on my back" he shoved me up his back before i could refused.
The warmth. Calmness. And manly scent. I slept off peacefully.

I woke up 1:20 am and saw Maryam by my side.
"Are you okay?" She asked looking worried.
"Yes, i feel much better now"
"Ali just left, he wanted to stay but i asked him to leave, he was worried."
"Ahhhhhh my head," i groaned.
"Go back to sleep" Maryam tucking me into my blanket.
"Maina called...." she said.
" Really?" I jumped up.
"I picked it and told him u were having headache so you slept off"
"Oh wow so what did he say?" I asked anxiously.
"He said he will come and see you tomorrow "
"Ohhh dear, i am so ashamed of my life right now, i dont know if i can face him." Covering my face with my hands.
"Of course you can. He is not God." Maryam rolling her eyes. "Just go back to sleep, Tomorrow is a big day."She winked.
"Goodnight"
"Goodnight and sleep well".
