it took me a moment

to realize what was happening

but once i did

i jumped up

and started screaming at sammy

i yelled,

'stop! stop!'

over and over

but he wouldn't

and i had to get in front of him

he didn't notice

and he punched me

my jaw dropped in pain

and he finally noticed what he did

so he sat next to me

rubbing my back

whispering to me how sorry he was

but it didn't matter

the punch didn't hurt

as much as him not trusting me did
