i thought that going with jack

would clear my mind

but i was completely focused

on how betrayed i felt

i guess jack noticed

because he said,

'lilly,

why are you so sad?'

i was lost in my thoughts

so i barely heard him speak

i shrugged my shoulders and replied,

'i guess i just have bad luck'

he didn't understand

he asked,

'and how's that?'

i sighed

i didn't want to spell it out

'well,

if you really want to know

i just witnessed jen and sam

making out at school'

his jaw dropped

and he started to laugh

he said a quick,

'go sammy!'

while I gave him dirty looks
