"Hey Carly," Miles muttered,

"Nice to see you too Lennox," she responded,

"Look I know that we had small crushes on each other in the past, but you know that I'm dating your sister-"

"Step-sister, I would never in a million years consider Skye Charlotte Catto as my sister," Carly interrupted,

"Dating your stepsister, and it would be awkward if I broke up with her because of the feelings I still have for you," He finished,

With those words, the door flew open there stood Vanessa and Beckett with hopeful looks in their eyes,

"Wait, so you still have feelings for Carly? " Vanessa asked hopefully,

"V, we're not in high school anymore, you can't just do this to me! You act like we're still at Keaton!" Carly shouted,

Vanessa's eyes filled with tears when she heard those words, they were like knives to her heart. She wasn't at Keaton for very long with them and was homeschooled after she left. Her tears were threating to spill as she ran out the door.

Running onto the sidewalks of New York, she slowed down to a walk and sat down on a bench. Not noticing the two girls next to her,

"Vanessa Morita?" a voice asked.

V's head shot up in an instant,

" Alya Kendrick?" She responded,

"And Kit Dunn!" Another voice chirped,

"I can't believe you guys are here! How are you?" she said perking up,

"Well, Kit and I got offered a record deal!" She smiled, " We came to the park to think about it," "How about you?"

"I know that you guys know that I ran from Keaton. From there I danced with a studio and was homeschooled, I was offered a position at the Royal Ballet School, I accepted," She drew in a shaky breath, " I attended for a few months and then decided to quit. I moved to New York a few months ago as NYDC's new choreographer, I got back together with Beckett. I tried setting Carly up with Miles, and I failed." her eyes cast downward,

"Well, maybe we could play something that you could dance to!" Kit exclaimed,

"That sounds great!" Vanessa responded.

Sorry, I've been inactive for a few days, I got busy at school, and I had finals. #schoollifesucks. Anyways I hope this chapter isn't crappy, and I hope you guys like it!
