Once the film finished, Shiki and I went out of the cinema and decided to wander a little before returning home.
As we walked the streets of the city, I heard a little noise and started to looked around me.

I headed for a wet alley.
Shiki: Hey ! Come back !
Shiki ran towards me.

I rushed to where the sound came from and find a dirty, wet cardboard box.
I opened the box and saw a little kitten inside.
Shiki: Hey ! I told you to stay next to me !
I saw Shiki rush towards me and stopped by seeing the kitten.
He slowly moved closer to me and tilted to observe the weakened kitten.
(F/N): He looks starved and thirsty...
Shiki: ...
(F/N): Maybe we could...
Shiki: ...
(F/N): Umm... take him home and...
Shiki: He looks sick too.
Shiki: We should take him to the vet.
Shiki took the box in his arms and started to come out of the alley.
(F/N): Wait !
I ran to catch him and followed him to the vet.
Once arrived, the vet started inspecting the kitten.
After a few minutes, she gave us her diagnosis.
Vet: He has some problem with his eyes, but with some medicine, he should get better, he is also very weak, so he will need some time to recover, but the good news is that there is no sign of injury.
(F/N): Alright.
Shiki: ...
Vet: Also I have a question. Do you to adopt this cat or do you want us to keep it so someone maybe adopt him later.
(F/N): Umm...
I exchanged a look with Shiki.
Shiki: You can choose.

Shiki: Will you adopt him or let someone else do it ?
