Yejin's POV

Mia looked at us ridiculously. "It's so bold of you to assume, Yejin." She said and stopped. Why does she stop her sentence? Or that's just it? Wow, ew. I clinged my arms on Haechan's and waved a hand.

"So, that's all, right? His friends need him. No sun, no life." I said and dragged Haechan away from Mia. Thankfully, the bell rang and we walked straight to our room.

"Didn't know I'd deal with a bitch." I commented while Haechan laughed. "Me too. But you played with it so natural." I scoffed and chuckled. "Because it's me, that's why."

He laughed and put an arm on my shoulder. "Okay, sweet cakes. Enough with bragging." I rolled my eyes. "I wasn't." I muttered and we went to our seats. Mr. Seo entered after us so we settled down.

I was fixing my things because it's lunch time when my phone rang. I took it out and answered the call. "Hello?"

"Hello, dear! How are you?" Mom's voice boomed in the other line. "Mom! Oh Gods, I miss you so much!!" Mom laughed in the other line. "I miss you, too, my baby girl~."

"When will you and Dad be back? I miss you two already~." I pouted and sat back on my chair. "A few more weeks and we'll be back. We just have to settle a few meetings and new accounts."

I put a strand of hair behind my ear. "Be careful, okay? Eat lots and don't forget about taking care of yourself." I said. Mom chuckled. "Alright, sweetie. Isn't it lunch time in there? Don't you wanna eat?"

"Oh, I'm going to eat but you called." I replied. "Hey, Yej-" I looked at the doorway and saw Haechan covering his mouth and stopped from walking. He removed his hand and mouthed a 'sorry'.

"Who was that?" Mom asked. "A classmate," I said and wore my bag. "So, what else would you want to tell me?" I asked and glanced at Haechan. "Nothing. I just called to check on you. I miss you so much~."

I smiled. "Me, too, Mom. Be back soon, okay?" Mom chuckled. "Alright. Be careful. I love you."

"I love you, too." I replied and Mom dropped the call. I put my phone in my skirt pocket and walked towards Haechan. "Why are you here?" He replied with a quick kiss on my lips. "Waiting for you."

I scoffed. "Do you really have to?" He took my hand and we walked out of the room and to the cafeteria. "Yeah. Oh, I just remembered. You're eating me today. Yay!" He threw his hands up and danced like a kid.

I laughed and stopped him. "Keep it down. It's just a secret between the two of us." I said. Haechan and I later arrived at the cafeteria and we sat on the boys' table.

"The two of you took long. Why?" Mark asked and gave us an annoying smirk. Jeno nudged Mark. "Oh, you know what happened, hyung." They all laughed and I rolled my eyes at them. "You kids better shut up."

Jaemin coughed and pointed behind Chenle. "Shoot, that's the girl." One after another neither choked or coughed. Haechan and I looked behind Chenle and saw Mia approaching to this very table.

I grabbed my bag again and stood up but Haechan grabbed my arm. "Don't go," He said to both me and the boys. "We dealed with the four-eyed bitch, we can deal with this freak." I laughed at Haechan's nickname for her.

Haechan pulled me and it isn't in my act to hit his chest after sitting. "Dude, do you really have to do that?" Jisung chuckled and sat back down with the other boys.

"Haecha~n." I rolled my eyes so freaking hard at Mia calling Haechan. Mark was in the counter to buy our lunch (I know, he's such a great friend) and I tried to be busy with my phone.

Haechan leaned his mouth in my ear. "Pretend like she wasn't here." He said and whispered to the other boys. Mia stopped in front of Haechan and waved her hand on his face. "Hii~!!"

Instead of answering to Mia, Haechan snatched my phone. "Hey!" He raised his hand in the air. "Get it." He grinned and waved my phone. I raised my own hand and tried to take my phone, but Haechan made me hug him.

"Smooth." Mark commented when he got back. He gave us our lunch while Jaemin whispered the plan. He nodded willingly as a reply. "Uhm, Haechan-" Mia tried to talk but Haechan immediately grabbed my spoon and took a spoonful of lasagna.

"Ah~." I chuckled and opened my mouth, taking in the food from the spoon. In my peripheral vision, Mia was glaring at me. "Hyung, if you tryna-" Chenle was cut off when Mia slammed her palm on the table.

We stayed silent, staring at each other. Later on, Mia mumbled an "ow" and Jaemin snorted. I took the fork and ate my lasagna. "Whatever ghost that's disturbing us, we should probably tell him or her to go to hell." Jisung said.

"Savage." I chuckled and we kept on talking, not minding about the frustrated Mia beside us. "Listen! Please!" We turned our heads to Mia and froze. Jaemin threw a fry in his mouth. "That better be good and ain't bullshit."

She pursed her lips. "I just wanna apologize about earlier," She turned to me and Haechan. "I.. I can't help being jealous. This might sound stupid but I really like you, Haechan."

"We could see that. There's no point stating the fact." I said and finished my lasagna. I glanced at Haechan and he was just staring at Mia. I nudged him and he snapped out of his reverie. "Hey, say something, stupid."

He shrugged. "I don't know. Thank you, next?" All of us laughed and I can barely breathe. I smacked Haechan's back while laughing. "What the hell!" Chenle's dolphin laugh filled the cafeteria and a few students looked at our direction.

Haechan sighed and smiled. "Mia, you know I can't return my feelings, right?" She nodded, her face red in embarrassment. "I don't know what you'd do with your feelings to me but what I'd say is sort it out. Ever attended Christian Education class?"

My eyes widened and stared at him. "Wow, you learned something?" Haechan scoffed. "Of course. Mr. Hong taught us about 'Limits of Friendship'."

Jaemin slapped his palms together. "Y'all get it? Limits of friendship?" The boys 'ooohh'ed feat Jay, Jewin and Teyong and some other boys. I smiled at their comedic attitudes.

Mia looked at Haechan then pointed at him. "I'll make you regret that. You'll fall for me someday." She said and walked away. She stopped when Haechan said, "No, you're just trying to prove that you're not worthy of being embarrassed. It's for your own ego and not for your feelings for me. Good luck with sorting your feelings out."

"Ay, chairman gave a speech."

"You're probably saying that because you don't have enough knowledge, Jaemin hyung."
