-chapter 57 ➵ scared to be lonely-

Renjun's POV

I continued my way out of Miniso, grateful that Younghee decided to show me all those Moomin merch inside. She even paid all of it for my birthday. The question is..

How did she know that it was my birthday?

I shrugged it off and then her familiar voice rang in my ears. "Hey, wait up!" I stopped walking and turned around to see her, catching her breath as she paused in front of me.

"I thought you're going home?" I asked. She gave me a glare. "I thought it's okay for you for me to bring you around and buy us some snacks," She sighed heavily. "I'll be going then." She turned her back on me and walked away.

There was something that's telling me to pull her back. I raised my hand and grabbed her arm. She raised a brow, giving me a confused look. "What?" I didn't know what to answer to that.

"Uhm, you can.. treat me. It's fine." I smiled. Younghee folded her arms and nodded. "Alright." She took my hand and dragged me to a cat cafe. "Here?" I asked, my expression changing.

Younghee let go of my hand and pushed me to a chair in the far corner. "Yep." She took a cat from below the table and placed it on my lap. She went to the counter, leaving me with the cat.

I looked down at the cat and it was giving me a sharp look. "Dude, she took you from the floor." I said and checked its name in its collar. "'Moomin'. Nooo," I groaned and stroked the cat's fur. "I think I have the same name as you."

Younghee popped up in front of me and placed our orders on the table while Moomin snuggled his head on my arm. "What did you get for us?" I asked, brushing my fingers on the cat's chin. "Some mango shake and cheese cake."

I nodded my head and placed Moomin back on the floor. "Shoo." I said in a low voice, but he stayed there, looking up at me. I rolled my eyes and I felt his tail wrapping around my leg. I took my fork and started to eat my cake.

"He likes you," Younghee smiled and bent down to get Moomin. "What's his name?" She asked and lifted the little guy. I sighed. "Moomin." She gave me a look. "Really?"

"Really."

She still gave me that look before cupping the cat's head with her hands. "You're so cute, Moomin~." I looked at her and she was looking at me. She immediately looked back at the cat and squealed, hugging it.

Why was she looking at me?

I shrugged that one off and told her to eat her cake. She placed Moomin down, who went beside me and snuggled on my leg again. "Why do you like me so much?" I asked him while moving a leg a bit.

"Maybe because you two are Moomins." That sent me to thinking. When she said that Moomin's cute-oh, no. I looked at Younghee and she raised her brow while putting the fork in her mouth. I shook my head. "Nothing."

We finished after that and went to the other room to play with other cats. I didn't have to carry Moomin because he followed us. A gray cat approached Younghee and she started playing with it.

She was having a good time with the cat and she looked up to one of the employees. "What's his name?" She asked. The cat must be a male. "He's a new one here. You can name him." The employee took out a notebook and a pen from his pocket and kneeled.

Younghee looked at the cat and stroked his hair. "I'm gonna name him after the boy I like," she rolled her eyes and chuckled. "Love." I smirked at her while running my hand on Moomin's fur. "That's no fun."

"I needn't your opinion." She rolled her eyes. She cupped the cat's face and looked at it. "I'll name you.." She glanced at me then at the cat.

"Renjun."
