The three walked into Stefan's room and Rebekah began opening drawers, "How fun is this?"

Silva jumped on the bed and smiled, "Man his bed is so much more comfortable then mine, I'm jealous."

Elena stayed in the doorway, calling, "We shouldn't be in here."

"'Course we should!" Rebekah smiled, "Oh come on, like you've never wanted to snoop?" Rebekah held up a pair of Stefan's underwear, "Boxer briefs. A lot has changed since the 20s."

Silva snickered, "Please, that's nothing compared to women's undergarments nowadays."

Rebekah scoffed, "Oh, I know. I snooped in your room this morning. You have some things in there that are quite scandalous."

All Silva did was shrug as Elena asked, "Are you gonna root through his stuff all night or are you gonna start to tell me your story?"

Silva rolled her eyes and sat up, "Geez, way to be a party pooper Elena."

"I know right," Rebekah commented before turning back to the brunette human, "What do you want to know?"

Elena finally entered the room, "Well, Elijah said that your father was a landowner in Europe. How did you guys end up here?"

Rebekah continued to rifle as she began the story, "My parents had just started a family, when a plague struck their land. They lost a child to it; a girl. They wanted to escape and protect their future family from the same fate."

"So how did you end up here? This part of the world hadn't even been discovered yet."

Rebekah answered, "Not by anyone in your history books, of course. By my mother knew a witch, Ayana, who heard from the spirits of a mystical land where everyone was healthy...blessed by the gifts of speed and strength. That led my family here, where we lived amongst those people."

Silva asked, "The werewolves?"

Rebekah nodded, "To us, they were just our neighbors. My family lived in peace with them for over 20 years, during which my family had more children, including me."

Elena looked at the blonde, "You make it sound so normal."

"It was. Once a month, our family retreated into the caves beneath our village. The wolves would howl through the night and by morning we'd return home." Rebekah paused and Silva spotted despair in her eyes, "One full moon, Klaus and my youngest brother, Henrik, snuck out to watch the men turn into beasts. That was forbidden. Henrik paid the price."

Silva stood up and took Rebekah's hand, "I'm sorry. You lost an older sister you never knew to plague and then a younger brother to werewolves."

Rebekah sighed, "Yes, and Henrik's death was the beginning of the end of the peace with our neighbors. And one of the last moments my family had together as humans."

Elena's phone buzzed and Rebekah snapped out of her nostalgic trance, "You better get that. That'll be Damon checking up on you."

Elena walked out of the room answering the phone and Silva tried not to listen in, but she couldn't help it. She frowned hearing Damon sound so concerned about Elena and paid the fact that Elena told him I was here too so little mind. Rebekah placed a hand on my shoulder, whispering, "It's not worth it to be jealous. Screw both of them, you have an eternity to find someone more deserving of your love."

Silva smiled, "Thanks Beks."

The two sifted through Stefan's diaries until Elena returned, "You two done snooping? Can we get on with the story?"

Rebekah put down the diary she was looking at and Silva pretended to keep reading, but really listening to Elena and Rebekah bicker, "You know, I don't get you two as a couple."
