The next morning everyone gathered to discuss their game-plan to lure Klaus back to town in order to have Mikael kill him. Throughout the entire exchange Silva stayed planted next to Rebekah, glaring at Elena. And occasionally taking glances at Mikael just to make sure she knew where he was at all times.

Finally it was time to call Klaus and Elena daggered Mikael, which allowed Silva to breathe a little, if only for a little while. Stefan then called Klaus and Silva listened in, "Hello Stefan, you know Portland is fantastic once you get over the whiny music and healthy-looking people. It's a breeding ground for werewolves."

Silva shivered, that meant when Klaus got back, he would have an army of hybrids and that meant the odds were not in their favor. Stefan replied, "Your father's dead."

"What did you say to me?"

"Oh, my mistake. Not your actual father and not really dead. Mikael. Daggered. What do you want me to do with the body?"

"Well, first, I want you to explain to me exactly what happened."

Stefan looked around the room before answering, "Well your father came to town courtesy of Damon and Katherine and tried to grab Elena in order to use her as bait. Damon and I were able to stop him with Silva's help. We vervained him and Silva found a dagger on him, which we believe he planned to use on Rebekah. So she give it to Elena to dagger him while he was still unconscious."

There was a pause on the lien before Klaus commanded, "I want to see him. I want to see his rotting body for myself."

"Well, he's here. Come by whenever."

"If you're lying, Stefan, your compulsion will expose you. So answer with your life in mind. Is what you're saying the truth."

Silva heard everyone hold their breathe as Stefan answered, "It's true. I saw it with my own eyes."

"I want to talk to Rebekah."

Silva notice Rebekah clench and took her hand. Rebekah looked at Silva who mouthed, 'I'm right here. Don't be afraid.'

Stefan looked at Rebekah, "That's not a problem, she's right here."

Rebekah then took the phone, "Hello, Nik."

"Rebekah, love. What's this I hear about Mikael's tragic run-in with a dagger?"

"It's true. Silva alerted me immediately after it happened."

"Oh? And where were you when the incident occurred?"

Rebekah looked at Silva who mouthed, 'Tyler. Compulsion.' "I was teaching your hybrid how to use compulsion. Don't be so paranoid, Nik, I looked into Silva's mind to see the events that occurred before coming over to confirm the body for myself." She lowered her eyes back to Mikael, "He's finally out of our lives for good. I miss you. I'm miserable here, the only one making it tolerable is Silva."

Klaus replied, "I'll be home soon. Keep your sire-ling close, I'll need her to help me track down her mother."

Silva frowned as Rebekah replied, "Good. I'll see you then brother."

Klaus hung up and handed the phone back to Stefan, "He bought it. He's coming home."

Damon smirked at Elena, "Now was that easy, or what?"

The doppelganger scoffed, "Let's just get this over with."

She then leaned down and undaggered the Original and Silva huffed, "Well, seeing as you no longer need me, I'm going to go pour myself a nice calming drink before that beast wakes up and I have to make sure to keep him in my peripheral."
