“Nyam. I think I saw a lot of people who recognized us. Jesus. . . another wave of rumors,” pagrereklamo niya at padabog na ininom ang yogurt na binili ko sa kanya bago kami lumabas ng mall. Tumawa naman ako at saka nagsimulang magbasa ng libro na binili ko kanina noong nagpunta kami sa MOA.

Jinthe and I are still close but without any feelings attached. I guess people will learn to understand that someday. Maturity, everyone. It’s important.

“Not like you aren’t used to it. How long are you goin’ to stay here? I ain’t expecting you to stay until I graduate or something,” sabi ko at siya naman ngayon ang tumawa.

“Dunno. Maybe it’s my time to leave when everything’s cleared. When your rainbow comes.”

“Isn’t everything cleared already?”

“No, if everything’s cleared then why are you still stuck in the storm?”

Ah, as expected from Jinthe. She always know what to say. If I’m good at literature then she’s always a few steps higher than me. She never fails to make me rethink my decisions just by saying a few words.

“It’ll heal soon,” sagot ko at humalakhak naman siya.

“Nothing will heal when you aren’t attempting anything to treat the wounds, prince,” sabi niya’t ngumisi naman ako.

I’ll just wait for Jaehyun’s signal, and the plan for the both of our wounds to heal. . . commences.
