The once sparkling ring you once have me signifies forged love, a promise, monogamy, a life together, everything.
Now dulls in comparison to what you've done.
You promised the doctors to get me well instead of handing me over to them for a life I made you promise I never needed not wanted.
You have your heart set on fixing me but reality is I've been fixed.
I love the old you. The new you if vile, lying, cheating and lustful. I gave you everything and this is how you repay me.
I try to not dwell on you cheating on me, on the always eating away at my brain like maggots, the thoughts of doubt.
