This should be the last really short one
"Pearl?"
She turns to me, away from some dishes.
"Yes Red?"
"It's Wolfie."
"Oh yes...sorry."
"Do you need help with those?"
She smiles and nods, making room for me over the sink. She hands me a sponge and some dish soap. We scrub in silence.
"So Pearl...I've been meaning to ask you...would you happen to have belonged to anyone important?"
"H-Huh? No..."
"Really? Because you look an awful lot like pink's pearl"
She drops the plate and it crashes to the ground, shattering into pieces.
She covers her mouth and turns away from me.
"I'm sorry Wolfie but I need to go"
"Wait but you didn't answer me!"
She walks quickly towards the temple door and opens it, rushing in.
"Pearl wa-!"
The door closes.
"You have to tell me soon Pearl. I need to know."
Silence greets me again.
"I suppose I'll just finish your job then..."
