"You have to live with me, and I can't come here. You'll have to move in with me."
I rolled my eyes. "Of course I do."
"I know you don't like it. I don't like it either." He sighed in annoyance. "But we don't have a choice. I can't stay here for more than three weeks, so you have three weeks to break the news to your friends."
...Don't get attached...
"How do you know I have friends? You don't even know me."
"You're slightly happier than Vlad was." I was confused now. "You've only smashed whatever was on the table and nothing else. So, you either have something to keep your anger reined in, or you are just better at controlling it."
I made my way towards the door, the wolves following me.
"Stay safe, please."
"I will."
Opening the door and letting the three wolves out, I followed them and shut it behind me. The cold air made me shiver, and a part of me regretted not grabbing a jacket of some sort, but my pride wouldn't allow me to go back inside to grab one.
"Fuck, it's cold." King pressed his body up against my right leg, Remy doing the same to my left leg. We started walking, Chase behind us.
How would I tell them? I have three weeks, that's enough time, right?
Soon enough, I found myself at Jaxson's door. I hesitated before I finally knocking. Jaxson answered a smile on his face, but it dropped when he saw the look on my face. "What's wrong?"
I lightly shook my head. "I-" I paused, not knowing how to even tell him. Jaxson and I met when my father was still alive. I had known him as long as Lily, though Lily and I were closer due to the fact that we were both girls, having girl's night whenever I was free. "I'm moving."
"Moving?" His eyes gleamed with unmasked confusion. "You mean you're moving into a different house, right?"
I shook my head, closing my eyes as I tried to hold back my tears. "No, I'm moving in with Victor,"
"You're other older brother?"
Opening my eyes and nodding, I continued. "And he doesn't live around here. He lives quite a few cities away."
His eyes widened and started to well up with tears in realization. "No...please."
"I'm sorry," I murmured. "But you'll be alright. Leo and Jay will protect you." I was, of course, referring to the students that would bully Jaxson when we were young. They stopped when I started a fight with them and came home with bruises and cuts on my arms, legs, and face, and blood on my clothes. Vlad ended up threatening them, though to this day I still don't know what he said, but he told me only he could "discipline" me. The next day, the students had black eyes, bruises everywhere, one had a broken nose, and another had a fractured wrist.
When Vlad died they tried to torment Jaxson again, and I showed them not to ever mess with him as long as I was here. With me gone, they would surely continue.
"I know, but you were my first friend. And now, you're moving." He whispered.
"Believe me, I don't like it any more than you do."

I ended up spending time with Jaxson, but soon enough I left to go tell Leo and Lily.
The walk seemed longer than it actually was. Stepping up to the front door, I once again hesitated.
I haven't spoken to Lily and Leo hasn't spoken to me since the argument. Obviously, she told him about it.
My pride was trying to pull me away, but I stood my ground.
They were still my friends, and they deserve to know.
Knocking on the door, I let my mind drift off into my thoughts. The sound of the door opening brought me back to reality.
Leo answered, narrowing his eyes.
"No, I am not here to apologize," I said before his arrogance would cause him to make a comment about me crawling back. "I am here to tell you that I am moving in with Victor, and he doesn't live around here." I saw him open his mouth to speak, so I cut him off. "I am telling you in honor of our past friendship and our current association." I turned to leave, taking a few steps before looking over my shoulder. "Tell Lily, I don't want her accusing me of just leaving without saying anything on top of her accusation of me being jealous of her friendship with Andrew." And with that, I left. Pulling out my phone, I dialed the unknown number.
"So eager to speak to me, aren't you?" Andrew answered. His tone made me want to rip out his tongue.
"I could say the same, you were the one who answered after two rings."
"What is it that you want?"
"I'm just here to say goodbye."
"I thought that your downward spiral would be far more...violent and bloody. You are full of surprises."
Giving him a bitter laugh, I decided to explain. "I just wanted to let you know that you don't have to deal with me for quite some time."
"You're moving."
"You catch on quick," I muttered. "Yes, I am."
"Well, then Violet, I will wish you a farewell." His voice gave away his amusement.
"Why so amused?"
"Nothing much. I am just looking forward to seeing your decent on live TV."
Great.
"I hope you enjoy it." I let the sarcasm drip from my voice. I hung up, deciding to end the call.
Fuck him.

"Jay, I don't like this any more than you do," I growled, losing my patience.
"Then don't move! Think of who you're leaving behind! Jaxson, Leo, Lily, and I! Stop being so selfish!"
Something inside me snapped. Was it my self-control? My heart? Something else? Or maybe, it was everything. "Selfish? I am being selfish? What's selfish is forcing Victor to stay here because of me!"
The three wolves around me didn't know what to do, all three of them looking back and forth between us frantically.
"My sister was right. Maybe our friendship was a mistake." Jay's eyes were cold.
"Perhaps it was," I growled, turning and stalking away. I heard Jay do the same. King, Remy, and Chase scrambled after me. I crossed the street with ease, King and Remy right behind me. Turning, I saw that Chase was further behind seeing as he lingered a bit longer when I stormed off. He began his trek across the street when I heard it.
A car, clearly going over the speed limit.
"Chase!" I called out, but it was too late. As soon as he turned his head, I heard a thud and the sickening crack of bones.
No.
...Don't get attached...

A/N: Part one is complete. This chapter is definitely the worst on top of being boring.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed!
(Should I kill Chase off, or should I let him live?)
