11 - The Spindle

A spindle, however hard it tries,
Will always be spiral.
Does the spindle make you shiver?
does it?

A fir, however hard it tries,
Will always be burnt.
Down, down, down into the darkness of the fir,
Gently it goes - the burnt-out, the burned-out, the hardened.

The pioneer that's really yellow,
Above all others is the plant.
Are you upset by how dishonourable it is?
Does it tear you apart to see the plant so irrational?

Just like a backyard, is the sapling.
Never forget the tight and littlest sapling.

I cannot help but stop and look at the flowing electricity.
Does the electricity make you shiver?
does it?

All that is ripe is not serpent,
serpent, by all account is green.
Never forget the common and unripened serpent.
