Sometimes I get so sad,
So sad that I completely shut down.
I stare blankly at walls,
And it doesn't matter what anyone says to me,
Because in that moment I don't exist.
No one could pull me out of it,
The constant depression that I walked alone in.
No one could break down the walls,
Catch my attention for more than two seconds.
Not until you came along,
Broke down the walls and stood in front of me,
Forcing me to see,
That you were meant for me.
You took my hand,
Led me through the pain,
Told me it was ok,
Before me you had felt the same.
Staring at walls,
Hiding in our pain,
All of it ended on that day.
Together we conquered it all,
Everything that caused us ache.
Now that I've found you, my love,
Nothing will ever be the same.
