Chapter two - we love arguing

It's been 2 days since the party, and I haven't really talked to Todd much, I've been really busy with a lot of things. But today David is having a little thing at his  was house today for his birthday. But that's not till 6 or 7 and right now it's eight in the morning. So I decided to go hiking. I was gonna ask Todd, but when I walked past Todd's room, all I heard was moaning. I wonder who he had over today. It kind of hurt my feelings. I'm not completely over Todd yet, so that really hit. I didn't want to go hiking alone and I know Jeff likes to go hiking a lot. I'm trying to be nice since he's becoming closer to the vlog squad meaning I'm going to have to see him more often.

So I messaged him :

Ella : hey Jeff ! I bored let's go hiking ?

Jeff : suree ! When ?

Ella : right now

Jeff : ok , where you wanna to meet ?

Ella : bottom of the Hollywood sign ?

Jeff : ok meet you there

Ella : bring nerf !!

Jeff : I will

I wasn't sure what i was going to talk to him about. I was just hoping it wasn't gonna be awkward. And yet that's exactly what it was. We made small talk, you know the weather, our favorite food , just little things. We made it to the top and took pictures as usual and posted them in instagram. On our way down however, he brought up me and Todd.

"So how are you and your boyfriend?" He asks

"Who ?" I ask confused

"Todd" He says

"I've told you before" I said "we are just friends"

"Yeah ok keep telling yourself that" he says

"What's that supposed to mean" I ask getting irritated

"You're in denial ; you like him and you know it" he says

I just roll my eyes

"So you admit it" he says

"Ok so me not saying anything means that I like Todd ?" I ask

"Yup" He says "ooh I know what's going on !"

"Do you now" I say

"Yeah, you like Todd but he doesn't like you back" he says

"Pfttt Yeah ok" I say laughing

"You know it's true that's why you're not saying anything" he says

He wasn't lying, I did still have feelings for Todd and this morning confirmed that he's over it soo. I just shook my head

"Am I lying" Jeff says

" why is it that every time I'm around you you always manage to annoy the crap out of me" I say

"Why are you dancing around the subject" He says

"Am not" I say

"Are too, and you're getting defensive about it" he says

"What are you? The love doctor?" I ask annoyed  "because I didn't have an appointment"

"Love doctor ? I prefer love whisperer" he says

"Yeah says the one who's single" I say

" just because I'm single doesn't mean I can't give out love advice" he says

" you can't give out love advice when you caused the breakup" I say

"What are you implying" he says upset

"I'm just saying" I say

"Look you don't know me or what happened between cierra and I" He says really upset 

"And you don't know me or what's happening between Todd and I so back off " I say with attitude

"Say less" He says getting in his car

I get into my car and go back home. I walk in and see Zane on the couch watching tv.

"Where have you been" He says

"Hiking" I say

"With who?" He asks

"Jeff" i say

"Jeff ?" He says in shock

"Yes but it didn't go so well, we ended up arguing" I say

"About What ?" Zane says

"More like who" I say

" who ?!" Zane says

"Todd" I say

"Isn't Todd the reason why you and Jeff-" He says but I cut him off

"Yeah but remember we don't talk about that, especially since you're the only one who knows."  I say
