Chapter 16 - You

"Please hear me out, please" I say and he nods his head once more "I wasn't going to waste your time, Jack and I at the mini golf place made plans to go shopping for London, and grab some dinner. I took it as going to hang out with my friend, but I guess he took it another way. Anyways, after I talked to you last night, I didn't want to even talk to jack again, but I forgot to cancel."

He rolled his eyes as if he didn't believe me

"Jeff" I sighed and I felt the tears come to my eyes, I was telling the truth, I felt so frustrated "look if you don't believe me that's fine, but I'm telling you the truth, I want to be with you, only you, I've been here at your place for hours waiting for you to come home just so that I could explain my self. This relationship is new and its different, but I like that it's different. Jeff I like you a lot and if you don't believe me then don't, but it will be your loss" as I finished a tear fell down my face

Jeff stood there and didn't say a word

I walk past Jeff and reach for my keys in my purse and I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn around to have Jeff right in front of me. He pulls me into a hug. After being out in the cold for a while a hug was perfect. He squeezed me tightly and rubbed my back. He pulled away and simply said "i'm sorry for jumping to conclusions, I should have let you explain "

I smiled

" to be quite honest I was very much miserable today, and seeing you at Panera made it so much worse for me, you don't understand all I wanted to do was hug you, make you feel better, I'm sorry" he added

" its ok" I replied and reached to kiss him

He leaned down and our kiss was such a sweet relief.

"hey are you two done over there? I getting cold" Todd yelled and Jeff and I laughed.

That night was spent with a lot of laughter, for the first time felt as if I didn't have to hide my relationship with Jeff, not with David or even Todd it was nice to be affectionate and not feel like I have to spare someones feelings. It was like a fresh breath of air after being drowned for hours. After a couple of hours I decided to not stay at Jeffs place and take Todd and I home. We said our goodbyes and went our ways.

"you seem really happy Ella" Todd says as we get into my car

I chuckle "I am, you know for the first time I don't care what anyone thinks I genuinely really like Jeff and I want to be with him and only him" I say and the car goes quiet

"how are you an Corinna?" I ask out of courtesy

"uh not so great, she's really been bugging me to do lovey dove shit but that's not me you know, but the sex is great so"

"Todd" I look at him

"yeah I know its fucked up but I mean I do like her its just she takes any little instance and twist it around, to make it seem like I'm cheating on her, but in reality I'm not doing shit. sometimes she comes up with the dumbest assumptions, I don't know. I just feel like she doesn't trust me"

"I'm sure it's not that, she's probably been hurt before and she just wants reassurance, she wants you to tell her that she's the only one you want. You know?" I try to explain

"maybe you're right" he says "I just want her to trust me you know?"

"yeah I get you without trust, your relationship is nothing" I say and continue driving

( Flashback )

"no what did I do, why don't you trust me" Ella ask's

"nothing, you did absolute nothing" Jeff replies sarcastically

"what is that supposed to mean?" Ella ask's offended "what the fuck did I do, huh?"

"Ella I fucking saw you"

"what-"

"two nights ago, at davids for that fucking party, I left you to go find Todd, but I found you both in a room and you were all over him"

"what?" Ella asked confused "I was with David and Natalie"

"don't fucking lie to me Ella, I fucking saw you" Jeff yells

"you don't believe me?" Ella ask's hurt by the accusation

"I FUCKING SAW YOU"

"BUT IM TELLING YOU IT WASN'T ME, BELIEVE ME" Ella shout's back

Jeff took a deep breath in "I fucking saw you" he says exhaling

I laugh "look if we do not have trust then our relationship is nothing, so I'm going to say it again, it wasn't me. Do you believe me?"

Jeff looked at Ella conflicted, you could see that he wanted to believe Ella but he just couldn't

"I guess that answers my question" Ella gets up and leaves

( end of flashback )

As I finished my sentence, it was like a cinematic experience happened right in front of me. When did this happen, If he didn't trust me then, does he even trust me now? And why were we talking about Todd, wait what party? I was so confused

"Hey are you ok?" Todd asked

"huh" I ask taken out of my thoughts

"are you ok you seem on edge"

"I just remembered something, Jeff and I were fighting, and he didn't trust me." I explain

"well what were you fighting about?" he ask's

"you"

ok hi I'm back from the dead lol, sorry I haven't updated in a while, but I'm back and I will be uploading A LOT MORE !!
