Months later after they got together, they've grown closer. Sal watched it all since he was always the third wheel. He felt torn apart. Like Larry and Travis were both a rose. If he touches them, he'll be pricked by their thorns.
Today was Valentine's Day. The day he dreads this day. Sal wakes up putting on his usual clothing. He puts on his mask heading out his room. To his surprise Travis, was there sitting on the couch. He was playing with his fingers looking a bit nervous. "Hey Trav." Travis looks at Sal smiling softly. "Um Sal?" Sal nods his head walking towards him. "Have you seen Larry?" Sal shakes his head sitting right next to the blonde. "He's probably already at school.
Travis nods his head getting up. "We should probably leave then. My mom said I could stay with you guys after school." Sal gets up also heading to the door. "What about your dad?" Travis shrugs. Ever since his mom got back from the hospital, his dad would stay silent. He wouldn't lay his hand on them anymore. He even smiled at Larry when Travis brang him over. Travis is still traumatized by yelling or screams. It makes him jump and hold onto the person closest to him.
They head towards the school side by side. Sal would talk about some things. Travis would laugh smiling at him. Such a beautiful smile. They enter the building seeing everyone look at them. It was quiet. Travis looks at Sal confused. Sal only shrugs not knowing what's going on. Larry walks towards Travis kneeling on one knee. Travis looks at Sal again then back at Larry. "Travis...." He takes out a bouquet of roses and a half heart necklace saying half of their names. "Happy Valentine's Day." Travis smiles hugging him and taking the bouquet.
Larry kisses Travis's head with a small smile. Who knew this is how the relationship would be. They were madly in love. The little moment was ruined when Sal coughed to gain their attention. "Guys we have classes to attend." Travis nods his head in agreement. Larry sighs looking at Travis. He mouths 'oh' and goes behind Travis. He puts on the necklace before holding his hand. Sal rolls his eyes playfully walking ahead of them. They follow after Sal with big smiles on their faces.
Jacey stares at Travis in their classroom. She smirks once the bell rings for lunch. She immediately got up walking towards Travis. "May I speak with you cutie?" Travis shakes his head, bit she drags him off anyways. The bouquet was left in the room as evidence. They head into an unused classroom making Travis uncomfortable. Jacey looks at him with a smirk. "Travis~ Sweetie~" Travis backs away from her. "Get away from me Jacey. "I know you love me! Just admit it!" Jacey walks towards him getting angry.
Larry and Sal were searching for Travis. Todd and Neil were looking for clues while Ashley was looking for her physics book. Todd comes towards the two boys with the bouquet in his hands. "I found the bouquet you gave him. It was left behind in his class before lunch." Larry was worried. Sal was worried too but didn't show it as much. "Larry they must be close then." Larry nods his head looking at a classroom. "I'll check this one." Larry heads to the classroom. Sal went to the other one opening the door.
"Get away!" He hears the door opening looking at Sal who looks back at him. "Travis?" Jacey glares daggers at Sal huffing in annoyance. Sal walks towards them grabbing Travis's arm. Jacey grabs the other shaking her head. "Let go Fisher!" Sal smirks under his mask. "Or what?" Jacey lets go to punch the blue boy. It backfires as Sal immediately makes it to the door still holding onto Travis. Larry exits the classroom he was in spotting them. He runs towards them hugging Travis immediately.
Travis hugs back looks at Sal mouthing 'Thank you.' Sal nods his head heading down the hall and into the cafeteria. Travis lets go of Larry kissing his cheek. He follows after Sal with the cutest smile.
"He is an angel..."
