you would think this would've made him the perfect target, a small helpless deer

occasionally a small rumour would glide around that he was the cause for his parents death, but it would quickly be eliminated by his best friends

they were the only ones that saw the other sides of donghyuck

the happy boy with a smile that melted their hearts, the small giggles that escaped his soft pretty lips when renjun would start nagging jaemin

or the seductive voice he revealed whilst singing

the sassy comments and confidence he radiated when he was with his friends or dancing to yet another girlgroup song

the one that would have men and women alike begging on their knees for another line

or the beauty he claimed to not have which was hidden under large hoodies and comfortable track pants during school

the vulnerable, soft boy has always hidden away under hoodies and the shy facade he had put up

anyone who caught a glimpse of these sides of donghyuck could never get enough

and once they did, they would be forever lusting for the sound of his seductively sweet voice and his ethereal beauty

but they never did

because donghyuck had never opened up to anyone other than his hyungs and his best friends

and he never planned on letting anyone in anytime soon
