Not transmigration, but one of the best historical novel I've read. Plus its short with nice paced plot and entertaining characters.
I love how the psychological palace war is thoroughly explained; and how the author turns on that intrigue and anxiety in you for the protagonists. And, nicely ended. I'm thoroughly contented.
This here, is for you if you're looking to read a short novel (yes, considered short comparing to most chinese novels) without a heavy atmosphere. A balanced novel with a dose of comedy, romance, intrigue, psychology, and a pinch of action.
