"Hey Kells," I greet Colson, as I sit next to him.
"Camilita," he giggles as I develop a smile.
I turn around to see Danielle with a smirk.
~AFTER BAND REHEARSAL~
"I never knew you could rap," Kells says in a impressed tone.
"You don't really know me," I develop a smile," but I'm no Cardi B, but I dabble."
"I thought you only sing..I can't really see you as a rapper," Kells confesses.
"I can't either. But here we are," I shrug.
"You have pretty eyes," he randomly compliments.
I chuckle," Thanks. You too?"
"Thanks," he laughs.
~COLSON'S POV~
Seriously? Pretty eyes? I'm such a clique.
"Have you taken driver's ed yet?" I change the subject.
She shakes her head," And I regret it. I might during summer though."
"Why can't you just ask your boyfriend to pick you up?" I tease her about her best friend.
"He's sick," she sighs,"..can you-"
"Give you a ride..? Sure," he nods, as he leads me to his car.
~IN THE CAR~
"So..how's school?" I ask her.
She laughs," You sound like my mom..or Shawn."
"So Shawn isn't your boyfriend?!" I ask her.
"We've already established this a long time ago," Camila bursts into laughs.
"Hmm, I guess," I agree with her.
~CAMILA'S POV~
"Is that your house?" Colson points towards the next house ahead.
"Yeah," I nod," Thanks, Kells."
"Anytime," he shoots me a smile, as he puts his car in park. And the he gets out to open the door for me.
"Oh, thanks," I smile at him, as he returns the gesture,"..I'll see you later?" I turn around to walk up the steps.
I can feel him grab my hand," Wait."
I turn around to face him, as our eyes meet again," What's up?"
"Nevermind..." He says, looking down," Uh, sorry-" He lets go of my hand.
"It's fine," I give him a light smile, as he smiles back.
~ SHAWN'S POV~
~LATER THAT EVENING~
Me: what happened w kells?
Camilita: nuthin he was dropping me @ home
Me: creepy much
Camilita: u dropped me several times to my house
Me: tru
Camilita: and plus kells is a good guy
Me: u known him since yesterday
Camilita: still tho
Me: ill believe it when i meet him tmrw
~COLSON'S POV~
Why did I even try to ask her out?! She's obviously not interested...
"No, stay," she grabbed my arm.
I mean..maybe, right?
"C'mon, Cole, we have to go unload the trucks," Mom tells me.
But one thing's for sure..Shawnito will never approve of me.
~THE NEXT MORNING AT SCHOOL~
I see Camila approaching me with a familiar brunette boy.
"Hey, Kells. This is Shawn," Camila introduces him.
He was there at the fight...
We exchange glances and greet each other," Hey. Nice to meet you." We shake hands.
I can already tell he doesn't like me....

I can already tell Shawn doesn't like him. But hopefully over time, Shawn will realize that Kells isn't like Austin...
