The New Girl

Part 8

Olivia POV:
I woke up this morning with butterflies in my stomach because I'm so excited and nervous for the competition. I bring my suitcase downstairs and start eating breakfast while my mom was checking to make sure I didn't forget anything. Once I was done eating my mom and I drove to the studio so we could get on the bus. Once we got there I found Maddie and we sat to together on the bus. We planned to do this because we wanted to watch Gossip girl together, since it is both of our favorite show. When I sat down on the bus I got a text from Johnny

Johnny❤️: good luck today x
Liv😘: thx Johnny x

Maddie was watching me text Johnny and when I was finished she nudged me

M: you guys are too cute
O: Maddie stoppp. Let's watch gossip girl

For the rest of the bus ride Maddie and I watched gossip girl. The ride was three hours because the competition was in San Diego. Once we got off of the bus there were screaming fans everywhere. They all had signs cheering on our team and everyone was wondering who I was.

Fan 1: who's the new girl?
Fan 2: yeah you is she?

Abby responded by saying

A: this is Olivia Wilson and she is amazing.
O: hi everyone!

The girls, moms, and Abby were signing autographs and even a couple people asked for my autograph.
When we got inside the competition we all set up our vanities and I was set in between Maddie and Kalani. The first number to go on was the group number so we were doing our hair and makeup to make us look like prisoners . We than got to try on our costumes and I liked them a lot because they fit the dance so well. Abby than gave us a pep talk and said

A: girls it is very important that you win because you have all of the tools to win. This dance is amazing and if you don't win it's your fault.

What a pep talk I thought to myself.

A: so girls, go out there and nail it. Hands in

Everyone out their hands in and said

Everyone: ALDC

The girls and I than walked backstage and watched some of the other numbers go on. Right before the announcer called us we did the aldc ritual. Than the announcer said

Announcer: #25 with Stomp the Yard!

That was our cue and we than went on stage and did the dance. I put everything I had into the dance because I wanted Abby to keep me on the team. I thought we did really good and when we got offstage all of the girls agreed with me.
When we got back to the dressing room the moms all congratulated us and Abby said that we did really well. Now it was time for the duet and than the solos.
