The New Girl

Part 17

Olivia POV:
During our break in between rehearsals, everyone in our group dance this week went to get smoothies together. I was mostly hanging out with Johnny. I really enjoy spending time with him and I'm really glad I'm dancing with him this week. The whole time we were walking to and from the smoothie place, our hands were linked the whole time. The girls seemed to catch onto this but honestly, I didn't care.

Once we got back to the studio Johnny and I had our duet rehearsal. Abby was giving us good corrections but again, said that I was doing really well. When we finished rehearsal Abby said

A: you guys have really good chemistry.

I than felt my cheeks get really red and I was really embarrassed. I looked over at Johnny and he seemed really happy. Abby than said

A: ok you guys are done with rehearsal for today but tonight I was wondering if you two would stay for some classes. We have hip hop with Guy and lyrical with Giana.
O: yeah that sounds great, let me ask my mom
J: yeah same

Johnny and I than walked over to our moms and pulled them aside so the other moms would hear.

O: Abby asked us to stay for two classes tonight, can we?
J: yeah please, I really want to stay

Both of our moms than said

Both: sure

Johnny and I were both really excited but than we realized that we should eat dinner before the classes.

O: wait mom
L: Yeah Liv?
O: can we go eat something first
L: sure, here's money. You and Johnny could go to In and Out
O: ok thanks mom

Johnny and I than walked out of the studio holding hands on the way to dinner. We were walking for about five minutes when Johnny stopped and said

J: you really are beautiful, you know?

I than started blushing really hard and said

O: thanks Johnny

We than continued walking in silence. It wasn't awkward though, it felt comfortable. I really liked that we were so comfortable with each other, even though we had only knew each other for less than two week.

When we got to In and Out we both ordered hamburgers and milkshakes and sat down. We were just sitting at a table, waiting for our orders when three of Johnny's fans came up to us.

Fan 1: OMG ITS JONNNY ORLANDO
Fan 2: can we get a picture?
J: sure

Johnny than took a selfie with all of us and the third fan asked me

Fan 3: Liv, are you and Johnny dating?

I felt my cheeks get really hot again and Johnny could tell that this made me feel nervous.

J: no just really good friends
Fan 3: oh ok. It's really nice to meet you.
J and O: you too

We than gave the fans hugs and finally our food came. We ate really quickly and walked back to the dance studio. When we were walking back, Johnny stopped again and said

J: hey Liv
O: yeah?
J: um so I was um wondering if you would, you know, be my girlfriend?

I than got really excited and said

O: yeah, I would love to buttt
J: what?
O: can we keep it a secret. This is new to me and I don't really want to tell anyone yet, even my mom and the girls
J. Yeah of course

We than hugged and stayed in that position for like a full minute. After that, we walked back to the studio and got ready for our classes.
