Hello, I hope you had a nice day po~ (started at 11:40 PM - Feb 19, 2019, also bear wid me, these extras will be raw and unedited soooo sorry po sa kakati ang mga mata kung meron man. And featuring the Kent album with the first song I picked for all throughout the parts sana but went against it xD)

Anyways, here I am in the extras as I promised I would add if I'd have such, so here it is.

Ano po ba ang nasa extras na itey, well, i-co-cover ko po ang writing process, some facts, writing experience along the way, characters, inspirations, and the like. Kaya, stay tuned na lang po, and well, if you don't wanna know, you can always not read this part na lang po. I'm just sharing this kasi this is a culture I did as a Visual Novelist. And it's fun por me, so why da heck not?

i n s p i r a t i o n

Nung ginawa ko po ang TRG, kakapanood ko po nung February 10 ng dalawang movies: Birdshot and Sana Dati. 

Birdshot is this toned down indie film with conspiracies, corruption, police, and a girl who just came of age in a very sad way. 

Sana Dati is another indie film po directed by Jerrold Tarog and the third part of the Camera Series, this was told nonlinear in a way na you really have to sit down and just watch. Yung 'di ka dapat titingin sa ibang direksyon kasi ma-mi-miss mo ang mga importanteng cues.

So, two things came to mind: toned down and nonlinear.

Kaya po by the time na sinimulan ko na ang TRG, naisip kong gawin siyang nonlinear and well, yeah, toned down. Like when I was writing it, I imagined it being a film with all the pale colors in the world. Iyong wala pong so bright na masakit sa mata.

And that equates not placing to mats lightheartedness like YMTLL. As you can see, it didn't start out with the sun, it started out with darkness and pain and vulnerability. And towards the end, doon lang po nagkaroon ng sliver of light and rays of sunshine (Sana Dati did this as well so yeah, inspiration is real.)

Ayun po ang nag-influence ng naging style ng TRG. And ano po pala, may scenes sa Sana Dati na naganap sa rooftop ng venue, kaya ayun, alam niyo na po, hehe.
