CH5 (TRAINING)

ETO P.O.V

I open the door and we leave walking into all the aogiri soldiers leaving we move up through the crowd catching up with Tatara as we move for the base in the 11th ward

TIME SKIP

We're now arriving at the base as i hear a different pair of footsteps behind me speeding up i look back slightly and see it's Ayato catching up to Jack who looks tired i see Ayato look at Jack and wat looks like talking to him i can't tell because he's wearing his mask Jack just ignores wat ever it was then i can hear Ayato shouting at him as he starts slowing down so he then rushes past me to keep up but i can see more clearly he's struggling as we're just at the roof of our base we jump over to it and Jack then collapses from exhaustion and i walk over to him kneeling down

Eto: tired?

He just groans in response

Eto: don't worry I'll let u take a nap in our room

He just grunts getting up as Noro walks over wrapping one of Jacks arms around his neck and helps him to walk to my room as we get to my room Jack stops leaning on Noro and dashes to the bed collapsing in it not even pulling the blanket over himself as Noro leaves the room and i walk over pulling the blanket over him as i brush the hair on his face back and whisper in his ear

Eto: we'll train when u have recovered

He hums in response closing his eyes and i walk to the couch as I'm notified by an aogiri soldier that Yamori and Ayato have gone to the 24th ward to find Rize i wave the soldier away and he leaves as i think of methods to help Jack master his trick

TIME SKIP

I walk over to Jack to wake him up since i let him sleep for a day i tap him on the shoulder and he twitches so i tap him again harder

Eto: Jack wake up

I say and he wakes his eyes fluttering open

Jack: when's... training?

Eto: in a few minutes get ready

Jack's eyes go wide as shoots up

Jack: how long did i sleep?

Eto: a day

Jack: a day!? Well I'm ready

I giggle at his behaviour as he gets out of bed stretching his arms as we leave to find Tatara and we do in a rather large room

Tatara: it's about time

Tatara says annoyed that we took so long

Eto: sorry i had to let him sleep in so he'd have his energy for the training

Tatara: fair reason, i take it you'll train him

Eto: yep

I say slightly worried about Jack since my training methods r a little harsh Tatara leaves giving us the room as i look back to see Jack shaking slightly and his face down not moving an inch

Eto: Jack?

Jack: wh-what r u gonna d-do to me?

Eto: Jack it's fine we're only gonna spar

He stops shaking a little bit as i walk to the opposite side of the room

Eto: we fight until one of us can't go on and since u don't have your own kagune i won't use mine

I say and he stops shaking as he takes a fighting stance i charge at him and he charges at me and right as we r about to make contact he jumps over me and kicks me in the back making me stumble as i regain my balance and spin around to kick him in the stomach making him wince in pain as he then grabs my leg spinning me around as he then throws me across the room

Jack: use your kagune

He says surprising me and i comply releasing my kokaku kagune that i got from my father and i lunge at Jack slashing at him and he gets slashed across the left arm then the right shoulder followed by his left rib as i then cut his right calve then his left ankle as i stab at his chest when suddenly a red blade forms in Jack's left hand and he cuts my kagune in half as he growls swinging at me again and i barely dodge it as the sword shoots ukaku shards at me but they only graze me as light green and blue wings shoot out from where Jack would have his Rinkaku as he then grabs me by the arm and takes me to the roof and throws me down to the ground as he lands running at me as i regenerate my kagune and run at him as i then stab him right in his blind eye as he stabs me through the stomach his sword turns to dust as he collapses and i catch him with my stomach healing Noro then walks in shocked by wat he's seeing he rushes over and i lift Jack up slightly and Noro picks him up as i stand up with some difficulty and walk to my room with Noro following behind as we get in my room Noro puts Jack on my bed and leaves i grab a roll of bandages to change my blood soaked ones as i finish changing Jack wakes up confused and i run over to him with bandages in hand as i hold him down as he grunts in pain feeling around his eye socket

Eto: Jack stop touching it i have to bandage it

He stops touching his socket as tears stream down his left eye i wipe them away as i sit behind him placing a pillow on my laptop i get Jack to lean on the pillow as i wrap the bandages around his head covering his eyes i finish bandaging his eyes and then i touch the bandages around his left eye and he flinches at my touch making me pull away slightly as he then lifts his head a little to my hand making me smile as i re arrange the bandages covering his left eye and i see it looking around as i make his view wider moving the bandages a little more and he smiles looking at me

Jack: th-thanks

Eto: your welcome

I say softly and he chuckles softly

Jack: is this wat training is gonna be like?

He says and i giggle lightly

Eto: yes, yes it will
