I woke up and immediately went brush my teeth and took a shower. I threw on a tank top and some grey sweatpants.

I was hungry so I grabbed the room key and walked out the room. My daddy's door opened and he appeared with a raised eyebrow.

"Where you going Amoura"He asked with a yawn.

"Breakfast"I said and he nodded before closing his door. So weird how did he know I left the room but okay.

Once I got downstairs I ran into Carlin again and his friend Dustin.

"I really thought Carlin over here was dreaming when he said he saw you last night"Dustin said and I smiled

"Nah he was telling the truth"I said

"So what you about to get into. Apparently it's not school"Carlin asked

"I told you I wasnt going yesterday and im going for breakfast. You?"I asked

"Oue checking on each other"Dustin said and Carlin gave him an eye.

"Ill go upstairs."He said before waving goodbye. I gave him and nod and turned back to Carlin.

"I just came to check some things out."

"With the coaches?"I asked and he looked confused before nodding

"Yeah but I got spare time and you shouldnt eat alone."Carlin said

"I mean if you want to join I cant stop you."I said and he smiled

"Breakfast date"He asked and I laughed

"No"I said as I walked and he followed. We filled out plated with food before we started eating.

"To say your little you sure can eat"He said and I smiled

"Well I dont think size has anything to do with you being hungry."I said

"Tell that to my sisters"He said and  I smiled.

"So how's it with your dad"He asked and I swollowed my food before responding.

"It's cool i mean he hasnt been in my life since I was born but now that I've met him I feel like I can be myself"I said

"Well im happy for you Amoura"He said and i smiled.

"So what about you and the coach"I asked

"Just throwing ideas out honestly. I want a full ride he wants to play around"He said with a shrug.

"You that good"I asked

"If you came to the game you would know. But they dont bluff. I put my all on the court"

"Yet I feel like I could beat you"

"I think I like your dad being around makes you nicer and more approachable"He siad

"Approachable?"I asked

"Yeah you always had this aura that you couldnt be talked to and you were a prize"

"I knew claimed to be"I said getting defensive.

"I know you didnt but we all felt it. It's like you were i mean are the it girl"he said looking at me with his honey colored eyes.

"Is that why you keep chasing me"I asked and He laughed.

"No i just - I mean your different honestly Amoura. You carry yourself like your going somewhere"

"I got bigger dreams kid"I said and He smiled

"Good"He said when we finished we parted ways and I headed back to the room only to be stopped by my father.
