You took me out to eat once at my favorite restaurant, that you remembered, that I had told you. You always remembered what I said.
The way you stuffed your mouth with food made my heart shake. You looked incredible as always.
You said you loved the food, and you probably only said it because I said I loved the food. You would never had thought about going to a restaurant of such a kind, but you did it for me.
In that moment I experienced something I'd never felt before. I felt warm, and safe.
This emotion, that I've never felt before. The emotion, I said, I didn't have for you.
In reality I just had never experienced it.
