Third Person POV
Jimin rushed out of the room and straight for Taehyung.
He grabbed the man and pulled him up into a fierce hug.
"Jimin..." Taehyung sniffled out, before his knees weakened and he fell the ground. "I didn't mean it." He whispered. "I didn't mean it."
"I know you didn't, bubs. But what's done is done."
"I-i love her...I love her, why did she hurt me, Minnie? Why doesn't she love me?"
"Because she wasn't a kind person. And she couldn't see how truly amazing you are, baby."
"I-i just wanted her to love me. Maybe I didn't try hard enough, maybe--"
"Stop." Jimin shushed him. "It wasn't your fault. You could never have done more. You did everything you could have, and if she still didn't love you, then she was making a mistake."
Jungkook watched from afar, seeing how broken Taehyung was.
How much of a child he still was.
A teenager who'd had what should have been some the best years of his life ripped away from him just because of some whore's selfish desires.
Jimin turned to Jungkook as he continued to comfort Taehyung and gave him a look. The man stepped forward and took Taehyung from him.
"Kitten." Jungkook said quietly. "Babygirl, it's okay, you're okay. Let's go calm down in our room, okay?"
"O-okay..." Taehyung curled into Jungkook's embrace, feeling safe.
Jimin picked up Yoonbin and took him to another room while Taehyung and Jungkook headed for theirs.
When Jungkook reached their room, he laid Taehyung on the bed gently and sat beside him.
"She didn't deserve you, Taehyung. You're one of the strongest and most independent people I know. It must have taken a lot, to step up and do the things you did for your son and for her. And she didn't deserve a single bit of your attention and support."
Taehyung didn't say anything and Jungkook sighed, leaning over the man and stroking his hair.
"I don't want you to feel bad for what you did, Taehyung. She deserved it."
"She was the mother of my child. What am I going to tell Yoonbin when he grows up and asks where his mother is? That I shot her?"
"He will ask someday, but he'll grow up in a safer environment and have the love and affection he needs."
Taehyung turned and faced Jungkook, snuggling into his waist.
"I'm sorry..." He whispered.
"You're sorry? For what, babygirl?"
"For burdening you with my problems."
"Don't say that." Jungkook said softly.
Don't mistake it. Although Jungkook cared for Taehyung, he didn't love him, not like that.
They'd only known each other for a few days.
But Taehyung was Jungkook's sub, and it was his job to make him feel safe and comfortable and happy at all times.
He leaned down and attached his lips to Taehyung's, gently working his mouth against the others.
He moved his lips down, his hands slowly caressing his back and side.
"You're beautiful, babygirl." He said quietly.
He kissed his neck, gently, not leaving any marks.
"Deserving of all the love in the world." He continued.
He gently removed the man's shirt and kissed down his chest, his hands now resting on his hips and rubbing circles with his thumbs.
"You're kind."
"Smart."
"Hard working."
"Worth it."
Jungkook kept whispering sweet things to Taehyung, who began to relax and feel better.
Jungkook wasn't making anything sexual, and his goal wasn't to sleep with the man tonight.
It was simply to comfort him and make him feel better.
Put him in a better mindset and make sure he wasn't a risk to anyone or himself.
Jungkook stopped kissing Taehyung and hovered over him, his eyes looking straight into Taehyung's.
"And don't you ever think otherwise." He said quietly.
Taehyung nodded, Jungkook leaning down once more to kiss the tears from his eyes.
"Come on, babygirl. You've had a long and stressful day. Let's get you ready for bed and then we can cuddle, hmm?" Taehyung nodded.
That sounded nice.
Jungkook picked him up and carried him to the bathroom, drawing bath and setting him inside of the tub.
After a quick but relaxing wash, Jungkook dried Taehyung off and carried him to their shared room, setting him on the bed and heading for the closet, picking out some soft pajamas.
He helped Taehyung into them and when the man was all ready for bed, he climbed in beside him and wrapped his arms around him.
"You feeling better?"
Taehyung nodded.
"But are you okay?"
The sub paused.
And slowly shook his head.
"That's okay, baby." Jungkook said, kissing the top of his head. "You have every right not to be okay. But try for me, okay?" Taehyung nodded once more.
"Good. Goodnight, babygirl."
"G'night Jungkookie." Taehyung whispered, slowly closing his eyes and drifting off to sleep.
