*One year later*

“Maybe you’re hungry? Or aren’t you comfortable?” Robert paced around the room with his 6 month old baby boy, Caleb, in his arms, softly crying.

“You woke up just a while ago, so you can’t possibly be sleepy, right?” He put him in the air and looked at his big brown eyes.

Baby Caleb shut up for a while and stared back at his father.

“Oh, that’s better, see there, big boy?!” Robert smiled, internally sighing in relief.

He had promised Emma the baby would be just fine with him, while she went to pick up her parents, who were going to spend the weekend with them.

Just when Robert was convinced he got everything under control, little Caleb started crying again.

“Oh no, no, no, don’t cry, champion!” Robert desperately said, turning him around and smelling his small butt “You’re fine, no need to change diapers…” He laid him in the couch, making sure there was no way he could fall.

Kneeling in front of him, he took a deep breath “Hey, champion, c’mon… pleeeease, your mommy is gonna come back and she’ll yell at me! You don’t want that do you?”

“AAAAAH!” he cried

“Oh, baby” he looked around, his mind screaming as well, and a big headache on the way.

He quickly reached over to some of his toys, and started jumping in front of Caleb with them, trying to lighten up his mood.

“I am Mr. Panda, and I am going to….eeeeeat little Caleb!”

“AAAAH!”

“No? Ok, ok… uhh…” The father looked around the room, spotting a small train “Check this out, champion, check this out…. Little train, little train, pooo, pooo!”

“AAAAH!”

“Oh, god... ok, ok…” He spotted his guitar in a corner “What ‘bout this, baby… uhh…okay… A peanut sat on a railroad track… his heart was all a-flutter,…” He played

“AHHH!”

“Still no?” Robert cursed “You’re worse than Simon Cowell…” He dropped the guitar and, unluckily, stepped on a sharp toy of his son, hurting himself.

“OOOW!” He grabbed onto his foot

“Haha!” little Caleb giggled

“Oh? You’re laughing now?!” Robert turned to his baby boy, who kept giggling at his father.

“So, I can’t leave you alone for two minutes, you turn the living room upside down?” Emma suddenly entered the room, making Robert jump in surprise which, adding to his previous spectacle, made the baby boy laugh even more.

“H-How long were you there?!” Robert’s eyes widened “We… oh… we were just great! See?” he pointed to him, “having a great time, laughing and all…”

“I watched it all, Bobby”

“Traitor!” Robert grabbed the baby boy in his arms, making him giggle, yet once again.

Emma smiled at her boys, anything couldn’t be more perfect.

Her life was amazing, and she couldn’t be happier about it.

Or could she?

Well, maybe.

Maybe she could, if that was even possible.
