Chapter 8

I woke up with my head on my keyboard at my desk. I groaned and cracked the bones in my neck.

"For fucks sake I need to stop doing this" I muttered to myself 

I got up from my desk and stretched out my back before fixing my ponytail. I headed to my bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth before changing into black sweatpants and a red bralette. I walked into my kitchen and seeing how empty it was made me realize how hungry I was.

"Uber eats it is" I sighed

I walked back into my room and sat cross legged on my mattress with my phone in hand. I opened my ubereats app and ordered a bacon and lettuce sandwich and Iced latte from Sunburst espresso bar. When I'd done that, I sat back at my desk looking through the video I'd been editing. I'd surprisingly managed to not delete any footage after falling asleep on the keyboard.

As I was close to finishing the video my doorbell went. I got up quickly and rushed to the front door to open it. The ubereats delivery guy stood at the door with his mouth agape. I looked down and realised my whole stomach was basically on show and my boobs were slightly pushed up.

"Uhhh  I'l take that" I said quickly grabbing my bag of food and drink from his hands.

I slammed the door shut and sighed regretfully. I placed my sandwich on the kitchen counter and took a sip of my latte. I walked slowly back to my room to get my phone then returned to the kitchen and took my sandwich from the bag. I was about to take a bite when my doorbell went again.

"Oh my GOD" i exclaimed, "I just moved here, how are so many people turning up"

I flung the door open

"What do you wan- Jordan?" I asked confused 

"Savannah?" He asked

"What are you doing here?" I asked 

"My dad sent me to do a drop" he replied, "I didn't know it was you"

"I guess I'll come out and help you then" I said going to get my keys

"In what you're wearing?" Jordan asked

I looked down at my bralette for the second time this morning.

"Right, let me get a hoodie" I chuckled 

"You look really good like that by the way" Jordan called as I walked away

"I know you're staring at my ass" I said

There was a pause before Jordan answered 

"No I'm not" he called 

I just laughed and slipped into my room. I shoved on a sidemen hoodie that i had and put my phone in the pocket. I walked out to see Jordan just wandering around my empty living room. 

"Let's go get those things shall we" I smiled 

Jordan returned it and we left my apartment.

*time skip

Jordan and I had finished bringing up my boxes over an hour ago and he'd helped me unpack things too. Now we were sitting on the floor of my living room since I still didn't have a couch.

"I can't belive you were able to just get up and leave England, your family and friends like that" Jordan said in disbelief 

"I didn't really like the place anyway, the only really real friend I had was Niya and my mum always encouraged me to follow my dreams" I shrugged

"It's not much different than you, you left here to travel the world" I added 

"I came back here a lot" Jordan said, "the longest I was away was a month and a bit" 

I opened my mouth to reply but Jordan's phone began ringing

"Sorry it's my dad" he said apologetically 

I smiled and Jordan answered his phone. He argued with his dad a bit before hanging up.

"He doesn't understand how I've been here for so long" he chuckled 

I looked at the time on my phone and gasped 

"It's been like two hours" I exclaimed, "you should go"

Jordan nodded and bit his lip slowly 

"Could I have your number now?" he asked shyly, "I did find my way to you"

"Of course Jordan" I laughed 

I handed him my phone unlocked but before he started typing my phone rang.

"It's S-M-i-i" Jordan started spelling out Smitty's name 

I took my phone off him and answered immediately 

"Hey London" Smitty said happily 

"Canada can I call you back in like two minutes?" I asked 

"Yeah of course" he replied 

"Thank you" I smiled and hung up 

I handed Jordan back my phone and apologised

"He's one of my friends I play with and he's been checking up on me a lot since I moved" I explained 

Jordan nodded and typed his number in my phone and I did the same in his phone. We got up and I opened the front door for him.

"I'll text you Savannah" Jordan smiled 

"I'm sure you will" I laughed 

Jordan shook his head and left and I closed the door. I immediately opened discord and called Smitty back. He picked up almost straight away

"Hey" I said 

"Hi" he replied, "how's you're apartment looking?"

"It's coming together, I just unpacked the boxes from my dorm room" I said, "they got here this morning"

"That's good, so what are you doing now?" He asked 

"Just chilling on my floor since I don't have a couch" I chuckled 

"Nice" he chuckled back, "Did you see the response on our video together, it was insane"

"I know!" I exclaimed, "It's already my most viewed video and it's literally been a day"

"Congratulations London, I'm proud of you" he said genuinely

"Why thank you Canada" I smiled, "that means a lot"

"I think you should record with us a lot more" he said, "the boys really liked you"

"Are you sure?" I asked tentatively, "won't the guys and fans think I'm just using them?"

"Of course not" he exclaimed, "I can't speak for the fans but the boys won't"

"I'll think about it" I said biting my lip

"That's not going to stop me from inviting you to every recording session" Smitty chuckled 

"Don't do that, the boys will get annoyed" I complained 

"Then agree to play more with us and I'll ask you a few times a week" Smitty said 

"That deal makes no fucking sense" i giggled 

I heard Smitty groan and I stopped giggling 

"Sorry" I muttered 

"Don't apologise" he laughed, "so...will you play"

I thought for a bit before giving him my answer

"Yes I'll play with you guys" I sighed 

"Yes" Smitty cheered and I laughed 

"But slightest hint of annoyance from the boys and I stop because I'm not going to make myself a nuisance" I said 

"Deal" Smitty said excitedly, "in that case me, mini and John were about to play some uno and we were looking for someone else, you down?"

"Oh my god" I laughed, "yes I'll play with you idiots"
