Third POV

Weeks passed, almost two months. Kate's old house was renovated with not much needed work, just some small adjustments here and there, the house wasn't worth too much, it was small and didn't cost much to begin with, Kate had thankfully somehow payed off her mortgage a year or so ago, the house was hers

Grayson after finishing everything with Kate's house and started the open houses now focused on his own, what needed to be changed or fixed, everything with Kate's house he needed to do with his

Grayson forgot he couldn't sell his house, only having moved in not too long ago and barely making a dent in his mortgage he would have to rent it out to someone else and still have to pay the mortgage on the side, the option of living there instead was a no

With the money Ethan had gotten for the house being the only one who could have gotten the money but Ethan said it was fine if Grayson put the money in a separate account of his until he had a card of his own

Grayson asked the man if he could help him find a house or if he knew someone who could, the man gave the phone number of a friend who could help out with that

After making the call Grayson met up with the woman in his contact list and talked price range and other necessities involved, needing a school for Ethan nearby was really the only requirement

She offered to show some houses up for sale, they went, both Ethan and Grayson to check them out, they weren't much, Grayson only had the money from Kate's house and what savings he had and what he got from Stacy's will, still in total not much to fall back on

There were only two around Ethan's current school district, they kept one of them in mind, it wasn't too nice, a small yard and pretty cramped for the asking price

They found a couple others near other school districts, three were close to where Harry lived, Ethan thought if he really wanted to leave his school for a better house, he would be closer to Harry, get to see him more, and two of the houses there were better than the ones from earlier

Ethan had to say goodbye to his friends weeks before the move, some teachers that helped him and that everyone loved too, said goodbye to everyone, promises to stay in touch that would most likely fade with time, a couple months or so before they deleted each other's number and unfollowed them on social media, forgotten

Harry took the news greatly, excited to see his favorite cousin more, they talked for about an hour or so, after Harry made sure to ask how he felt about the move and leaving everyone, making sure Ethan was okay. Harry talked about all the school gossip, which teachers to avoid and where everyone goes to skip classes or ditch in general

Harry was excited to have his best friend and boyfriend with him in school, they could walk home and have some classes with one another, hopefully at least, Ethan was a year ahead of Harry and Zayn

Grayson had no problems moving, he never talked to his neighbors, rarely ever saw them, the occasional walk to his car for work or taking the trash out in the morning

Nothing he was going to miss really, even the house he was glad to get away from, maybe the distance will do him good, do good for them both, a new house and environment to help them get over everything that's happened

New people and experiences, new memories and new bonds to be formed and relationships to create

They were packing the last of their things, walking around the house in search of anything left they forgot, all the furniture they planned on taking was in the truck Grayson rented already on its way to their new house
