-A few years later-

Clint slaps my back, making a loud sound echoing through the room. We look at each other, both laughing. “Nice job, you beat me too it.” The archer smiles.

The two of us turn to look in Tony’s work space once more. The poor male sat in the middle of the floor, a look of defeat on his face. His eyes are trained on me, like he is trying to bury me with his glare. A red balloon floats pass his face, blocking his death glare.

“You know I have a speech in like two seconds.” the male says.

“Nope, wasn't in my schedule today. Just prank Stark and eat some junk food. Sorry, should have notified me sooner. Maybe next time you will remember. Also Tony this is your fault, you started the prank wars. You fed me a carmel apple, except the apple was an onion. So have fun.” I wave to the male, walking towards the elevator.

Clint catches up with me, squeezing into the elevator before it fully shuts. He looks over to me, “you know that is going to make him angry all day now. All of his tools in his work shop are all in balloons. He is going to be cleaning up latex for hours.”

“Sounds like a Tony problem to me.”

My shoulders shrug as I smile at the older male. He shakes his head as he exits the elevator. I follow him to the living room, belly flopping onto the couch. Clint takes a seat next to my head, turning the television on. I watch him skim through the channels. He stops at a show, Impractical jokers. I personally love this show, always have.

We sat on the couch for a good twenty minutes watching the show. Seeing those four best friends make a fool out of themselves is the best. It is kinda just like Tony and I. In the corner of my eyes I could see Clint getting bored, right this isn't his hunting shows that he always watches.

“You can change the channel.” I say.

“You sure?” He asks.

“Yeah, go ahead.”

He picks up the remote that has fallen on the floor during the show. He skims through the channels, not seeing anything he likes. They were all soap operas, something he hates.

Then something catches my eyes. I stand up within seconds, “Go back.”

“Why?” Clint asks.

“Just do it!”

He goes back two channels, the news channel. My eyes scan the screen at the moving pictures. A new reporter was talking as firefighters were fighting a fire behind her. They were in Lagos Nigeria.

“Isn't that where part of the team is?” I ask Clint over my shoulder.

“Actually yeah, now quiet I want to see what happened.” Clint presses his hand against my cheek.

I push his hand off of me before looking at the Television. “The scarlet witch is out of control, killing numerous civilians. She will hopefully be punished for her actions. It will be surprising to see what happens with her and the rest of the team.”

The camera pans over the building again. The whole thing was destroyed and burned. My hand presses against my mouth as I walk closer to the television. Clint doesn't say a word as he walks out of the room, not wanting to see anything else.

The television turns off, Fridays voice instead fills the room, “The team is five minutes away from the building.” I turn and make my way towards Tonys office. I know he is angry at me, but he needs to know what is happening.

“Mr. Stark isn't in his room anymore miss.(l/n).” fridays voice fills the hallway.

“Where is he?” I ask.

“He left for his speech.”

“Shoot I already forgot. Okay looks like I will be the first to greet the team.”

“Don't worry miss. (l/n), I will be here.”

“Thanks Friday.”

I change the direction I am heading in, walking towards the jets landing spot. I could see the jet landing, so I quickened my pace. I open the door for the team as the enter the building. Everyone's head was down, all except Steve. I pat Wanda's shoulder as she passes me.

Vision walks into the room, well more like comes through the walls. He stands next to me, his arms crossing as the others look up at him.

“Where is Stark?” Steve asks.

“He is out at the moment.” I respond.

“Vision, tell me when he arrives.”

He then walks out of the room. Sam follows his friend. Natasha and Wanda stay with us as they take off some of their gear.

“So what happened?” I ask.

“I really don’t want to talk about it right now.” Wanda says.

“I understand that, but people kind of hate us right now.”

“It was a mistake, a stupid mistake.”

“Come on.”

I grab Wanda's shoulder as I guide her towards her room. Once we make it to her room the poor girl bursts out crying. Personally I don’t know what to do in this situation, so I just awkwardly pat her shoulder.

“You know you are terrible at comforting someone.” Wanda says, moving to her bed, now laughing.

“I used to be so good at it, then my arms got detached to my body. I can easily make someone uncomfortable, just placing their body in between these arms. I could kill them instantly. I-”

"I am going to stop you right there, i’m having a pity party right now. You can not enter it, okay?”

“I guess.”

Wanda turns on her TV, flipping through all of the news channels. As bad as I wanted to take the remote from her and smash it against the wall, I left. She needs some alone time right now, even if it is with the stupid news on. They are going to put words in her mind that shouldn't be there.

I walk into my room, belly flopping on my bed. My pillows bounce at the weight of my arms. I roll onto my back, looking at my arms. I trace the metal with my other finger, listening to the sound it made. Even if these arms are deadly machines, the sound is really relaxing.

The silver isnt ugly either, which is a plus. If it was a neon yellow or something I could go crazy. Sure it is a nice color, but seeing it every day would be disturbing. Maybe even hard on the eyes too. Gaining more attention than what I want.

Even though I don't have any attention right now because people don't even know what happening to me. So that's cool.

“Miss. (l/n)?” Friday asks.

“Yup.” I respond, sitting up.

“Mr. Stark is in the conference room.”

‘Alright, I am on my way.”

“He seems to have brought a guest.”

“Do you know who it is?”

“It is the secretary of state.”
