Wanda drags me around bodies as she tries to find Pietro. When Tony invited everyone, he meant everyone. Thank god we have so many levels in the building, there is literally so many people here. This dress isn't even helping. Tony made sure everyone knew that this celebration is a ball theme, so puffy dresses and expensive suits. (You make your own red ball gown)

Wanda relaxes once we find the male. It was nice to find another person that I knew. Walking around these strangers kinda scares me.

"Hey (y/n), try to relax. It is a party." Wanda says placing her hand on my shoulder..

"I know, but these strangers scare me." I say looking around.

"They are just regular people."

"An average person walks past a murderer 36 times throughout their life."

Wanda and Pietro stare at me like I have a second nose. I shrug it off before turning around, leaving the judgy pair. Only clumsy me had to bump right into someone's chest. Looking up at the person I come face to face with Loki. A big grin placed upon his face.I felt a little relieved that it was someone I was familiar with.

"Don't you look ravishing." He states, taking a step back to get a better look.

"You really had to choose the most showy dress, huh?" I ask.

"Just wanted to see you like this. Also red is really your color honey, brings out your eyes."

"I feel so exposed."

"You look like an angel."

"My arms are just hanging loose, for the world to judge."

"You look almost godly."

"Some people hate me because I remind them of that monster."

"I love you."

I stop talking, looking up to Loki again. His face now showing he was confused, almost like he wasn't expecting to say that so quickly. "What?" I ask.

"Have for a while now." He plays it off shrugging. "But I hope that doesn't change our friendship. I will always be here for you (y/n)."

"I know."

He grabs my face, making me look up to him. "Don't you ever forget that."

"Brother!" Thor says, slapping Loki's back as he shows up.

Loki's hand drops from my face as he turns to his brother. I take that as I should leave, I don't want to intrude on their conversation. I weave through the crowd of people, heading towards the balcony. There were a few groups of people on it, but that was fine. Just as long as I get my own space I am going to be just fine.

Leaning on the railing I look out into the night, letting the fresh air blow around me. It smells way better out here then back in the building. Plus the lights are absolutely gorgeous, they never get old.

"Hey stranger." I hear Natasha say as she comes up to me.

"Hey." I greet.

"Not feeling the whole party thing?"

"Tight spaces make me feel so uncomfortable, plus everyone is staring. I hate it."

"You will get used to that, don't worry. How about you loosen up a bit, grab a beer, and maybe bring a lucky guy up to your room."

"Um no thank you."

"Come on (y/n), all the guys here want to get in your pants. You are some new eye candy for them."

"I have no interest in that."

Natasha takes a long sip from her cocktail as she glares at me, "What about Loki?"
