If Only

I so think that school has to offer much more than solving math problems capabilities, or speaking skills and history education. I so think that school should impact the children's behavior deeply. It has to spread knowledge on topics people can actually find useful in the future; like I want my future kids to be educated enough so that when they grow and need to apply for a job they won't have to wonder how the system works. I want the kids to know about what bureaucracy is.
I'd like to know a few things about people, injustice, the job market, social inequality as I passed out of school, and perhaps less about physics or bacteria.
I know that all this stuff I learnt defined my life in many possible ways, but most importantly they left out all the actual matters I had to deal with as an adult. I truly wish that school had done much more than giving us some books to read and making us memorize pages as the only standard of success. If only, human kindness and pure feelings mattered the most. If only school subjects included "how to love yourself" "how to deal with your problems" "how to be productive at your future work" or "what's the ideal work for you".
