Annie's POV: My eyes open. Immediately I am blinded by a white light. I go to sit up and feel a sharp pain in my side. I look around. I hear a weird beeping and to my surprise I see a heart monitor. I look down and realize I am in a hospital bed with an IV in my arm. Why am I here I think to myself. I don't remember anything. I hear the curtain opening. I look up and see a woman I don't recognize.
A: Hello?
MK: Oh my goodness! My baby is alive!
She leans in to hug me.
A: I'm sorry who are you?
MK: I'm your mom.
A: What happened.
MK: Honey, you were in an accident. You hit your head and broke a rib, and you may need to go into surgery because they think you may be internally bleeding.
A: Internally bleeding?
MK: Yeah. It's scary, but I trust the doctor here.
A: Who's all here?
MK: Everyone. Your Dad, Hayley, Paige, Nonnie, Mary-Kate, Danielle, Johanna, Aiden, Mum, and Jayden.
A: Where's Hayden?
MK: He's in Texas but flying in as soon as possible.
A: Ok... What's today.
MK: Well it's been a few days since the accident...
A: How much school have I missed?
MK: School is the least of your concern.
Doctor: Ok, we need Julliana for her MRI.
A: I prefer Annie.
Doctor: Ok Annie let's go.
