I made Billie a plate and we sat down to eat, it was quiet "I forgive you billie" ocean spoke up "really?" She asked with a smile "yes" she said "but my mommy doesn't" she said I turned to her with a confused look "she cries about you and I don't think that's nice" she said "it isn't nice to make your momma cry and I'm sorry" she said I looked away to not meet her eyes "what are you gonna name him?" I asked as I looked at the small puppy laying on the floor "cotton" she said I laughed and she hopped off the chair and picked up the puppy and walked into her room "thank you for the dinner" she said "no problem" I said "you should really get back to your wife now" I said "I didn't get married" she said "what?" I asked "I wasn't ready" she said "yet you're here thinking you're ready to be a parent to my daughter" I said "I wasn't ready to get married to someone who wasn't you and I am ready to be a parent" she said I tried to keep the small smile that formed on my lips hidden. I picked up her plate and washed them while her and ocean set up the puppy's bed next to oceans "hey Billie can you tuck me in?" Ocean asked "sure" Billie said I stepped outside the room and went to mine "she's asleep" she said "thanks" I said "I have lots to do" I said "like what?" She asked "I need make sure I have everything ready for Christmas break for her Billie I need to make it great for her" I said "please let me help" she said "fine if you wanna help you can help me set everything up for the next week" I said "I'll be here tomorrow morning"she said "Billie you can stay" I said as she walked out of the room "I mean not in my room but in the guest room" I said "I would love that, goodnight" she said "goodnight" I said
